Thanks so much to the OP for posting about this as I would have had no idea!

In my local store I've done really well the past 2 days! Today I picked up:

    2 Dune handbags (£3 and £5)
2 pairs Spanx Skinny Britches (£3 each)
    2 Paul's boutique khaki jackets (£6 each)
2 pairs of Orly nail varnish (£1 each)
2 small unbranded box clutch bags, super pretty (£2 and £3 each)
2 silk ties (£1 each, one was from The Saville Row Company!)
Faux silk pocket hankie by Jack & Jones (30p)
2 very large electric blue and silver decorative glass bowls (£2 each, 99% silver and handpainted, and then another smaller one for £1 and a peach and silver one for £2)

Happy Kate :D I honestly could have bought more. Few pressies sorted for the present box :) Planning on going back for more nail polish if it's still there. My store seems to be reducing the items daily :)

In TK Maxx Perth today, most of it was a lot of tosh- clocks with no hands, broken vases, pieces missing but....... if you have small feet
there were sheepskin moccasins size 3 for £3 and their was girls icebreaker merino socks size 6-8.5(kids size) for £3.
  • I seem to have got lucky on the TK Maxx wheel of fortune...the store I visited looked as if the 'final clearance' rails had all but been cleared out, and yes, what remained was largely damaged or broken - but I still got:
Trespass Ladies Ski/Snowboard/Waterproof outdoors pants, £2
Simon Carter London red silk tie, 50p!
Royal Worcester bone china plate, 20p!

The standard retail prices on these items are £55, £50 and £7, so I think I did good... all of these were in perfect condition.

But best of all, to me, was a lovely Clements-Ribeiro beaded top. The beading on this (around the neck) had been damaged, hence the reduction. But it took me only a matter of minutes to remove the beading (which was not necessary because the fabric is a lovely leaf print in strong colours on a black background) - leaving a designer top, in perfect condition, with tags, for the princely sum of £1! :-)

i've been lucky too - went in looking for some valentino scarves (long shot) and of course they were all long gone! but still got
lovely calvin klein snood - £11
    kenzo tie £2
    lily & lionel scarf £6
clements ribeiro scarf £5 (altho' this one might be seconds?)
    monna glass plate £2
quiksilver down jacket £11 (bright lime green but will convince OH to wear it)
    kids history books 20p
    cashmere jumper £9
    billabong cap £2
the RRP on some of these was rather unbelievable - until I got onto google!

some fab bargains all of which I will love wearing/ gifting!

I've already posted on HUKD but I'll re-post (from a few days ago, then I posted again the next day). http://www.hotukdeals.com/deals/final-clearance-tk-maxx-1798943#post20689541

    I got: http://www.wolsey.com/Products/JE508_BLUSTR/blue-stripe-ticking-stripe-blazer for £11
A French Connection suit jacket for £10 (blue)
An Osprey crossbody shoulder bag for £19:
    http://i1092.photobucket.com/albums/i408/lushlabels/2013 May/IMG_2520_zps5ca15fbc.jpg
Mountrek rain boots (with 200g Primaloft lining, waterproof) for £7 http://www.zappos.com/images/z/1/5/0/9/1/0/1509103-p-DETAILED.jpg also on here: http://www.amazon.com/Mountrek-Womens-Lisa-Waterproof-Black/dp/B004ITVU7Q/ref=sr_1_22/181-7049995-6837950?s=shoes&ie=UTF8&qid=1390348076&sr=1-22

Typically, I couldn't find anything for myself!!

PS: As for the Channel 4 programme (which I watched), I have no doubt TK Maxx sell their own TJ Maxx-owned brands, and maybe even "diffusion" clothing from some designers, but I can tell you the items I got, versus the online equivalents at the higher prices, are identical. I don't see anything has been skimped with the material or stitching, nor are they seconds.

Got this Revell model kit today, boxed, sealed, for £3. RRP £49.99, in fact all the stated RRPs on the items I have, I've been able to verify elsewhere. The Wolsey jacket, for example, says RRP £199, and says the same on their website.

Quite a few people picked it up and put it back..maybe because it's red (?).

Quite fancy the Osprey bag for myself but I've promised it to sis for her birthday. She likes crossbody bags because she has a little one (meaning she doesn't have to cling onto her handbag) and her mobility isn't great, so a crossbody bag is more secure for her.

The jackets were for boyf. Nothing for me, haha. Did I save money? Maybe not..but it made a few people happy. I do love to rummage, it doesn't bother me at all.

Had a peek yesterday in TK Maxx and it's all the broken, scruffy bits left, sadly.

Just curious but re the recent Channel 4 expose of TK Maxx. Does anyone have direct proof (comparison) of the alleged "downgrading with cheaper materials but identical" designer goods that are earmarked for TK Maxx sale only?
