Does anyone know how the daily reductions work, i.e. by how much the items are reduced each day, and at what point of the day they reduce them? I saw a few bits today that I'm interested in and am thinking about popping in before work tomorrow, but I'm not sure if they'll already have been reduced again in the morning?

Starting Sunday tomorrow, all final clearance stock will be marked down once every day until Saturday.

On Sat 25th, the remaining final clearance will be marked down once every hour until around 2pm.

This is in all stores across the UK.

    Happy bargain hunting. :D:beer:
how do you know this? do you work for tk maxx?
  • I just bought a Helly Hansen ladies down jacket, grey for £33. RRP is £295

They're all marked down in the morning before the stores open at 9am.

I'm not 100% sure, but I think it's around 20-30% each mark down. (for example, something at £14 went down to £11)

I got some knee length leather boots today, hadn't heard of the brand - it's Alberta Ferretti which I've now found out are very expensive. The were £17!!:j

I have been told that it's not every day but every second day daily reduction, so next Tuesday is the day of next reduction and then Thursday and finally Saturday.

Thanks to Anselm, I bought 2 pairs of ladies shoes for £9 per pair. One pair is Scholl, and the other pair is Ecco.

There was lots of lovely ladies dresses, at the Preston, Walton-le Dale store.
  • I went back into our local one on Saturday and there were a few yellow stickers but mostly it was the unwanted tat that was left, looking very sorry for itself!
  • Oh my goodness, I've never seen a worse load of overpriced, broken tat EVER as I saw today in TKMaxx. Unbranded clock with hands snapped off: £5! Unbranded watch with hands snapped off: £7!!! Broken pepper mill: £5!! Last year I got loads of (unbroken) yellow label great stuff for £1 or £2. I think TKMaxx are really holding out this year and only putting the broken stuff out.
