this site might help. You type in what you have and it suggests recipe ideas. It can be a tad frustrating to use at times as if you list a few ingredients it oftens considers them individually rather than initially suggesting an idea that uses them all together.
I have to say, just skimming your list, you could make a few veggie curries.0 -
Another stash-aholic here too:
Food, pet stuff, ex- (ie in control of) craft and toiletries.
I go into slight panic mode when I only have 1 unopened deodorant left...0 -
I'm going to make you feel better, and that isn't including the kitchen cupboards!.....
In my defence i feed 6 every day and a couple of extras at weekends. It looks an awful lot but at the end of the month it is well depleted.I will save my tesco £1 savings stamps this year! .......so far = £50 (full card#1)
Card #2 £6. I will not be skint at Chistmas this year!

I am just as bad, but it has saved us lots of money with highfood inflation and when redundancy has hit. I rotate every time I put something away, so I am pretty good with date codes, not that it matters much because most food is good for many months even a year after sell by dates, we never had SBD's until the 1970's so I usually ignore the dates.Blessed are the cracked for they are the ones that let in the light

Your pictures made me smile heavenleigh - thank you.
I returned from my shop with only fruit and us brie. But in my defence I am in charge of cheese board at Nye party tonight, I already had the others.
What veg curries could I do then? I'll be honest we tend to have meat led dishes for no other reason than used to it. Willing to have a go at all suggestions x
Thank you for the website add his missus looks fab!0 -
I make a thai curry, I have a large stash of red thai curry paste I got from approved foods. Add coconut milk and any other veg you like, takes about 20 mins, tastes fine the next day as well. I also make a curry with potatoes and sweet potatoes, I use frozen spinach as you get more meals for your money, add a bit of chilli powder and some other spices, a bit of garlic, its very easy, a good way of using up leftover veg.
Google will give you loads of veggie curry options.0 -

Impressive stash! However, I do think you could be using your space better! You're not stacking things well enough to fit as much as possible in. Those pizzas on the 2nd shelf down could be crammed in a bit neater to fit more stuff in
I think the OPs list is reasonable, I have more stuff and there are only 2 of us. We could probably survive for 5-6 months if we had to. I also have a years supply of loo rolls, 2 years of dishwasher tablets, at least 2 years of washing liquid, a year of washing up liquid and at least a year of shower gel and shampoo for me that has now turned my spare room into a stock room.0 -
Lol...I was just thinking the same, that you could get more in as there are spaces.Yep...still at it, working out how to retire early.:D....... Going to have to rethink that scenario as have been screwed over by the company. A work in progress.0

Haha I know, I keep looking at it then walking away, Once the holiday season is over i will have to tackle it, too much lazy party food etc the Pizza express pizza's reduced to 33p, last night canapes etc reduced to 20p and still going through as buy one get one free. The thought of sorting it is daunting, at least the second freezer is full of fresh meat and i know where to look for it lol xI will save my tesco £1 savings stamps this year! .......so far = £50 (full card#1)

2 cans of tomatoes :rotfl: I've got two cases
I don't really think I'll be any help as I have two cupboards of tomatoes:blushing:
I'll lurk with interest though. For myself I am an optimist - there does not seem to be much use being anything else.
