Worth waiting until January (Sofas)?

Although most shops start their January sales on boxing day, are there bigger reductions beginning of Jan?

I went to DFS today and most sofas in the sale are still really expensive, normally you see loads around the £300 mark.

They probably bump prices just before there 50 weeks of the year sale

Well there are no further reductions. I wonder if anyone has worked for DFS and knows the best time of year to buy from them. Or other furniture shops, seem to be so expensive just now

There is no best time - there will be sales for this reason or that reason all year round.

The only things affected by the time of year are things like holidays and seasonal items.
