  • I have been missing in action since October and my purse has suffered. New Year, new start, meal plans for whole of Jan done so please can I join back in with a budget of £150 :)

  • Hi all. I'm new to this and really need to control my spending and my waist line. Going to start on Jan 1st, New Year new start and all that jazz.

Lets say £200 for the month for food, drinking and other supermarket(ish) based essentials... that is for 2 adults, 2 kids and 1 cat (though I just bought the cat loads of good food for cheap so he is fed for at least 3 months).

Anyway rambling now £200 it is :)
    January GC - £ 36.89/£200
  • £150 for me too this month, to include, dog/cat food, toiletries, cleaning bits

Last month I lost all track and spent much more than I should have so I determine to stick with it this month.

January starts today for me and I will be popping to Mr S for some fruit and veg, cheese, normal bread, yogs to cover lunches for the week and some buffet bits for NYE. I will not need anything else until next week. Hoping my list will be about £20 after using my small balance of n3ctar points.

Please can you put me down for a teeny tiny £130 to last me for the whole of this month. We are on a super tight, eat everything in the house/freezer/cupboards frugal month and this is what we have been spending weekly:eek:
    Save £10,500 - £2673.77 - 25.5%
    Pay off £7000 - £1743 - 19.4%
    Make £2021 extra income - £99.75
