NYE going out or staying in?

My parents gave my fiance & I money for Christmas, some of which we've used to go for a three course meal in a restaurant in the village we live in. I am really excited about it. The table is booked for 8pm, after our meal we're going to walk up the large hill which is in-between our house and the restaurant (they're only small walks between) to watch the fireworks with a bottle of wine and plastic wine glasses (probably lots of layers too!) It has been a crap year which I will not be sad to say goodbye to unfortunately so really happy to open the new year, plastic wine glass in hand watching the fireworks on a hill with my fiance.
Our debt is currently about 4k loan & CC, making a large payment in Jan and planning on being debt free for Christmas 2014 - continuing my OS ways

We go out. We are doing the same thing as last year, going to our local country pub where they serve a 5 course meal and they have a turn on. Its quite an expensive night (£90 for food for me & hubby plus whatever we spend on drinks :O) but we budget for it every year & we are still only in our late twenties so like to enjoy ourselves

Will be spending NYE at home, in preparation of seeing in the New Year. What's everyone else doing?
How much debt do you have to clear. Mine totals just under £12K.
We have no debts, but will still be frugal over NYE so as to remain debt free next NYE

Oh staying in for sure! Have done since having the children, find it completely overhyped.Squirrelling away in September No 33It's not about the money, it's about financial freedom, being in control of it and living in the natural world and not a material world0

I'm working until 5.30, although I'm sure we'll get away early, then staying in with my OH.
Turns out my parents are also staying in so we might have a party between us - there is loads of party food in the freezer from the festive period and I guess we'll need to use it up some time! There are DVD's and recorded TV series to watch so I'm all set.
My debt is in my sig at almost £5k, but to be honest going out is not really my scene anyway.

Not sure really. Have spent the last 5 NYEs at home alone (as usual) so it's be nice to go out, but not sure if any of my friends have plans.
Going out on 4th Jan for a meal with a few friends though

Used to stay up and see the new year in whilst watching Andy Stewart etc but usually in bed well before midnight, just another boring old fa*t.0
