It was lovely thanks ETO, although sadly back at work again already and have been since the 27th  How was your Christmas?

Unexpected spend tomorrow as my hot water bottle has gone pop :( Does anyone know of anywhere that had them for a decent price in the sales? I'm within a ten minute drive of Sainsbobs, Te$co, A$da, M&S and Boots...
  • Hi all, I can declare another NSD yesterday thanks to my lovely neighbour passing us over a whole host of goodies (crumpets, sweets, mince pies etc etc) that she said she's not going to use :) however, I have had to fork out £0.47, £3 and £1.19 today for bread, milk and coffee so that means my spend so far this week is £4.66, still well under my budget though!
Mooomin - do you collect loyalty points with Boots? They have a half price sale on and I used my points to get some presents for later in the year. You might find they have hot water bottles in the larger stores, if you are within distance of one. A$da and Te$co also have half price sales on at the moment but I have to say I haven't seen any in there. Hope you find a bargain!
Current Debt - Credit Card £3231.14; Hire Purchase £4,555; Catalogue £562.60, Loan £4754.88

So far so good for me :)

    Sunday - NSD
    Monday - NSD
    Tuesday - NSD
Wednesday - better be an NSD, I'm not leaving the house!
Thursday - should be NSD, all I need to do is go to work and make myself a small lunch.
Friday - ditto of Thursday, there shouldn't be anything I need to buy.

Quite looking forward to seeing how long I can keep this up!

We had a lovely Xmas thank you. Think little man was a bit overwhelmed though. Lots of people and lots of pressies.

Unfortunately I can't help with the hot water bottle question, little man's been under the weather so haven't been out anywhere. :(

So it looks like I was ahead of myself on yesterday's post, giving myself a cheer for a NSD on Tuesday. :rotfl:

Thankfully it has been a NSD, decided to celebrate New Year's Eve with fajitas and champagne (at home) so sent hubby out for the veg required. :D

NSD today as I went to Sainsbobs and Asda and didn't see any hot water bottles. By the time I had battled through the NYE crowds I couldn't face anywhere else, so I'll just have warmer jammies tonight and cope for a few days :D
  • Sorry wrong thread..
“Nothing in this world can take the place of persistence. Talent will not; nothing is more common than unsuccessful men with talent. Genius will not; unrewarded genius is almost a proverb. Education will not; the world is full of educated derelicts. Persistence and determination alone are omnipotent".
