Could I join please? DD265 referred me here :)

I'm optimistically limiting myself to £0 until Friday, as I'm not going anywhere Monday to Wednesday, and all I have to do on Thursday and Friday is go to work!
  • Thank you EverTheOptimist :) I should have spent £1.38 today on potatoes from Aldi, but my sister picked them up for me and refused to have the money back - does this count as me not spending anything today or do I include that? Sorry for asking but this is my first try and want to do it properly. Hope everyone is having a good weekend and looking forward to the new year

Welcome back regulars and welcome along newbies.

Good luck with that budget HKitten. Rather you than me. :D

Flutterby - I wouldn't include it as a spend as you didn't spend it in the end. And don't feel bad for asking its absolutely fine, but there are no hard and fast rules as such, this challenge is about setting your own budget and making it work for you. As long as you're honest with yourself about the money you're spending and what you're spending it on then it's all good. Also we all have red weeks when we go over budget, it sometimes takes time to work out a realistic budget.

DD265 - little man's good thanks, 7 1/2 months old now, don't know where the time is going. Hope you're well. :D

Oooo and NSD today. Haven't been out of the house.

Haha thanks :) I'm intending to join in with this as many weeks as I can, and I think normally I'm going to try to stick to £10 or £15, but I want to spend as little as possible in January!

I also need to spend very little as only have 1 month left of maternity pay, then I drop to no pay. But I always seem to need to spend so will be trying extra hard.

This challenge is here every week so keep coming back also you can post as little or often as you choose. I mostly pop in daily to post spends, it's always more embarrassing declaring 'out loud' to other people, especially miscellaneous spends, that weren't required. :D

£30 seems like a lot when so many NSDs beckon, but I know what I'm like :o
