I've been Money Tipped! Debt-free and Proud!
I had such a struggle to get out of bed this morning, it's no good, i can't carry on like it. I got carried away watching Final Destination 4 (great series of films i think) and didnt go to bed till just gone midnight..not good!

Didnt have time to make my LTW as a result of that, but to be honest i wouldnt have had time to eat anyway! I am STARVING! I got home from work to find someone on my doorstep for an appointment that i had forgotten about! So i had the 15min appt with him, then put the bins out and then it was time to get my youngest son from school.

Picked him up, and went straight to tesco to do the food shop, as i was DESPERATE for food...we literaly only had 2 leeks, better and milk in the fridge!

    Phew, what a day!

Day 5/20 for me, took last night's pasta bake. No work for me tomorrow so lunch at home.

I'm going to make carrot soup at the weekend for next week I think.

  • Day 5 (#66) for me.
Usual sandwich - well a large white finger roll (got a pack of 4 of them from asda reduced in price yesterday for 21p), with some cooked chicken, tomato & cucumber. A packet of cheese & onion crisps & a bottle of Lidl Freeway Lemonade. Was going to take a lemon flavoured muffin as well. But forgot to take it with me to work. So going to enjoy eating it tonight instead :D

Oh my goodness.. what a day indeed?! You did well not to fall into the nearest good shop and get some chips or something!!

I know what you mean about being organized. Hubby helped me this morning by making my breakfast and my sandwich. It meant that I actually made the early bus.

We were watching 24 on DVD about 8 years ago and we started the series at 7pm.. it was so addictive we finally went to bed at 4am:o the next day wasn't one of my finest at work I have to say :rotfl:

Now that brings back memories... I used to love potted meat sandwiches for school.. Veggie now though although fish paste comes fairly close.

Right then day 7\22 for me. It may become 21 days though as:) there is the possibility of going for a meal on the 30 th as there are a lot of January birthdays in the office.

Feeling much better today thankfully and its Friday tomorrow. I'm not sure what I am taking tomorrow maybe a cheese and coleslaw sandwich out maybe a quorn frankfurter sandwich with coleslaw on the side...mmmm decisions.

It is great to see how busy the thread is and think of all of the money we are saving

Another lunch taken to work today even though OH had the leftover curry from last night for his tea tonight. I felt rough this morning so just took a sandwich instead. But still succeeded in it being 4/16 :)
