Payed my £50 into savers account ready for when it hits £100, hopefully next week :-)
spent £10 today. We have a new butchers in town, which does meat over, so I got 2 steaks, 400g chicken breast, 400g stewing steak, 400g mince meat and 6 eggs for £10. It's all good quality and will last the week. Compared to supermarket it's a lot cheaper unless you see a whoopsie! So I had omelettes for dinner, saved the rest for another day as I'd already got something on for tea.
Will need to nip into town tomorrow, still need to get my sister a present and pay some money off the holiday. Also have the second night out tomorrow, put £20 aside for that including taxi but hoping to get a lift. Have managed to wangle a free bottle off champagne for table and it's half price cocktails too. Just going to have lite bite and if there's staff on I know I may be able to get free softdrinks or I'll be on the tap water haha
Think I'll pop in library to breakup the day for little one and that be it.
I have about £15 on my boots card to spend but my sister doesn't really used toiletries as she comes out with boils etc and toiletries make them worst (side affects off some off her meds) but I may nip in and see if there's something anyway, save spending the cash xxDebt Remaing £315 :jBreath out the past, Breath in the futureBig Dreams Start Small0 -
Just decided to set myself a mini challenge for next week. I want to earn a additional £50 to put towards debt repayment. Broke it down into five lots off £10, I may be lucky and get a little extra but these are my min amounts I want.
1. £10 in tips for the week (must smile and chat lots)
2. £10 in sales on eBay
3. £10 sales on local selling page
4. £10 from change jar (will put in money saved pennies from shopping around etc)
5. £10 in found money (time to clean sofa, money dropped on floor, money left in oh jeans lol)

Managed to get my sisters present within budget :-)
Had a lovley time at the meal last night. Only spent £12.2 :-) food was lovely and with the 20% discount we kept checking the bill as it seams too cheap! There was 7 off us and 6 off us just paid a £10 each leaving a £7 tip out off that. One lady is leaving on maternity so we paid hers between us.
Had a little fall back though, spent some money in town :-( all stuff I've been looking for for a while appeared in the shops the one week I didn't want it too. Got 3 bikinis for holiday (my size disappears like anything and then I end up having to get them dearer) got all the Rolf darh books (7) from charity shop for £2, and bought baby food, coffee and toothpaste. So all that came out off bill money, which is easily replaced this week just didn't want to do that in a ideal world. But I am very pleased with everything I've done this week and not spent much cash. In the past I would off spent £50 at least on a meal out!
Will start my mini target over the next few days xDebt Remaing £315 :jBreath out the past, Breath in the futureBig Dreams Start Small0 -
I've been thinking and reading through threads and decided to change my challenge. I have devided £800 by 100 so 1% is £8. From this I've created a spreadsheet with 100 squares and each square has a £8 aim in it ie earn £8 in tips. Managed to fill in about half the squares with doable goals. Reading the 1% challenge is obvious where the idea came from but I have linked each one to a different goal. Have made a start by putting some things on eBay etc. I will still be paying money off my loan as well so any additional money I make will then go towards c/c. Some squares have a possibility off earning a little more so that will be a added bonus too.
Need to look around for different means and ways off earning a extra £8

Have started a few different squares but today my made aim is to sell £8 worth off baby clothes xx
Edited
Have listed 7 different baby clothes on eBay, should bring in £8. Some may not sell but hopefully it all will add up to get my target, if not will repost or list some more.
All so have listed 8 DVDs. This is the second target, however don't expect to do this one easily, don't seam to sell well on eBay. May need to post on local Facebook page to get this target.
Really enjoying this task :-) don't want to work tonight, but i may get some tips to fill another square lol xDebt Remaing £315 :jBreath out the past, Breath in the futureBig Dreams Start Small0 -
Not posted for a few days, been very busy baying, selling bits and bots. So far got £110 in saving account to pay into the loan (going to pay off every fir what I've managed to earn) still got some more to go in- tips and found money etc . Will update all figures tomorrow.
Looking at clearing some bulky items, not sure if gumtree the best way to go. Seams to be mixed reviews, have used the local Facebook pages but don't want to keep reposting all the times, after all all my friends and work mates can see. Don't mind the odd thing here and there but don't want to over flood it!Debt Remaing £315 :jBreath out the past, Breath in the futureBig Dreams Start Small0 -
Busy busy day!
Got up a little earlier to get dropped off at nanas house, dd had Easter assembly today and currently school is 2 miles away. So played with baby and some free tea then nipped over the school. O/h had given me £2 for tea and Snak after assembly, turned out they were free. So more free tea and free hot cross bum yum yum
Assembly was good, it's good to see what the children are up too. Dd won a prize for Easter bonnet, so the last minuite rushing around to get stuff and actually make the hat was worth it!
Dropped the baby back off nanas and walked home to go to work, no pennies spent on taxis or buses. Go me!
Work went quickly enough, only just over £1 in tips but every little helps! Picked the little ones up from nanas and are now all tucked up in bed.
Introduced myself on 1% board last night. Since started a week ago I've collected 17% together. Got £800 left on loan and 1% is £8, so nice easy targets. Will have another 1% to go in pot tonight once pull my pennies in.
Had two more ebays sells only .99 each (one still active at mo though) not a lot but they soon mount up to my £8.
Tonight I'm going to list 7 items off clothing to hopefully to get another % knocked off. For each % I have a target to do for that. Enjoying highlighting my squares on the sheet. So I better stop yapping and get my bum in gear. Hard to get going tonight as I know the items need ironing first *groan*Debt Remaing £315 :jBreath out the past, Breath in the futureBig Dreams Start Small0 -
It not really been a mse day, got £2 in tips so that's gone in the pot! Haven't got any wages spare to go towards debt but will back to normal in the next weeks package.
No pennies spent so that's good. But not listed anything on eBay today, very tired after the weekend and can't get the baby to settle tonight. Got some watchers on some items already on so hopefully some will cash in during the week. Think I will force myself to put one item on tonight after my brew, just to keep things going. Not sure yet will have to find something easy lol
Not had any luck with local Facebook pages with the larger items. Made a separate page so will have to keep trying!

Made a payment today! Another £155 paid off! Bringing loan down to £693.3!!! Just under seven £100s payments.
Time to start cracking on the next hundred pound to go off. Some ebay sales going through in the next hour, just little ones but it all counts. Also £1.43 gone in account this morning for broken phone so that's kick started.Debt Remaing £315 :jBreath out the past, Breath in the futureBig Dreams Start Small0 -
Quick update before sleeps..
£11 made on beat transferred into savers account.
Tracked down Lost onepoll account did some surveys, £17 there now so just need to keep checking daily to try and reach £40 payout point. If I can get at least one a day I'll reach it in 4 months.
Joined ipoll, £4 on there so £6 to reach for payout. Will look at more things tomorrow and get listing on eBay again tomorrow. Sales coming to a close.
Hoping for music magpie check to arrive in next day or so. All pulling together nicely xxDebt Remaing £315 :jBreath out the past, Breath in the futureBig Dreams Start Small0
