Amazon marketplace and NOT receiving items. Problems with FUN TIME MEDIA and others

Hi all,
Been having quite a lot of stressful issues buying through Amazon market place, I hope I'm not the only one. Causing me more bad than good.
Is it a common practice to order from Amazon marketplace and no longer receive the items now ? Well, I ordered games in early December for Christmas presents from “FUN TIME MEDIA” and “Growingsstoreltd.” They both decided to keep my money and the items which I ordered for a long time and only just refund me after a lot of emails. I never received anything, on top of that they lied about sending the items out. I've looked through their feedback and I have noticed many others complaining. So from now on its really good to take a hard good look through feedback.
I asked for proof of postage and tracking information but guess what ? They never provided it at all. All they wanted to do was keep hold of my money. I also think they're both the same seller. I would recommend not to buy from Amazon marketplace again. The Amazon customer service representative in India, on the phone thought I would be just happy to receive a refund, that wasn't the main problem. Why was it they never refunded me as soon as possible ? Why did they take so long ? I never wanted the refund, I wanted the games. I have some unhappy friends now.

Ive had the same issue with BRIGADE UK i ordered Nov 24th and its still not here, ive opened an A-Z case but will have to wait until Jan 6th before i can have a refund.

Did you not look through feedback before? It's there for a reason. Although if they only did it on that item or on items up to Christmas and people ordered around the same time as you then that feedback wouldn't have been there when you ordered so you wouldn't have known any better anyway.I never wanted the refund, I wanted the games. Well a refund is better than nothing. You clearly weren't getting the games so what did you expect them to do? If you ordered early December and the games hadn't arrived after around 2 weeks why not buy them elsewhere? If too late to order online then there is always shops (Game, CEX, Grainger games, supermarkets etc).Thanks for that, based on two sellers out of over a million, of which I'm one.
I'm intrigued how the loss of two gifts could "waste your Christmas"?

The whole of Amazon marketplace should apparently be avoided based on one seller.
Perhaps what they meant is got wasted at Christmas and forgot shops were open to buy in time for Christmas day? :rotfl:0 -

I understand not buying from them two sellers again (or any others you think are the same company as them) but why avoid the whole marketplace?

I'm sorry that 2 games not arriving had such a devastating effect on your Christmas. You could have been one of the people who were flooded out, with no power or heating etc but I do understand that your priorities are slightly different.I have some unhappy friends now
If your friends judge you by what you can give them rather than who you are then I don't think they're your friends.0 -

No, it isn't just one Market Place seller, its quite a few actually. I'll avoid Amazon now as a whole and just shop online at other retailers. Amazon are not doing enough to keep the place safe. They think its fine that market place sellers can keep hold of the money and not reply back to emails etc. I asked the seller if it was dispatched, received an email a few days later saying it has. But when I ask for tracking information I get no response whatsoever. Then I have to begin complaining. Needless to say I really don't have to do this when I can simply buy the item elsewhere and receive it properly.
@Flyonthewall I had to complain and email many times in order to get a refund....I had no money to get the games from elsewhere as I couldn't find them and I never had the money. This was the main problem, they're just simply holding on to the money for a month or so for basically free. Free one month loan for them it appears. Amazon really don't care. I have complained to them as well, they just simply go off topic.
@barmonkey Sorry, not over reacting, just don't want the same thing happening to others. Would you like it if I held on to your cash for a month and gave you nothing ??? And only refund you once you started to moan and complain like I had to ???0
