Budgets looking a bit tight but I let the monthly transfers run without change. may need to borrow some of this back next week though if I get no other income.

    Hi Minicooper,

I am aiming to pay off £6000 by Christmas. This isn't all my debt but a manageable amount for me to aim for anything above will be a bonus :)

    Thanks

I tend to review my finances on the 6th of each month, to coincide with the anniversary of my LBM. This way it takes into account any interest added too, not just what I've paid.

Based on this month I've paid off - £429.36/£6000
Debt free since December 2015. It can be done

Regular payment direct debit went through today so my new totals are:

    #038 £1008.63 / £4016.44

It feels good to have broken through the £1000 barrier and the 25% barrier too. :j:j

Next milestone to aim for is 30%. I think setting interim achievable targets helps me to keep motivated.

  • Well done to everybody making payments!! I'm having another quiet night in tonight seen as DH is having a "networking night" - otherwise known as a booze up with his work mates!! I've been soooo sleepy this week though so am glad of the peace and getting to choose what's on TV :D

Any MSE plans for the weekend anybody?
