Well.... I have news..... Hubby had finally looked to see how much he has put in his savings account.... £2200!!!!!
So added with my pot that's....

    DFBX2014 no. 208 £3682.26/£6965.20 (52.9%)

We don't have separate money but we have some accounts that we have had since before we got together.

Not sure will save much extra next month as I have finally (after 2 years) found some units I like for my living room do that will take all our spare cash.

Fil has said he will lend us some money to pay the loan off early (obviously we will still owe him the money but without the interest!) so hopefully might have the loan cleared by the end of the year but not be debt free!!

Christmas shopping- all kids done!! Yipppee!
Still need to get OH, mum and dad, fil, brother and sister-in-law, friend, nephew.

Ds1s birthday next month but all presents got and party paid for. Just got to sort party food, cake and sweets.

We are away for Christmas this year so although we will need holiday spends we won't need all the usual stuff e.g. Turkey, crackers etc!!

Sorry this was a ramble but pleased with how things are going!!

Anyway loan payment has come out today so that's another £143.36 off the debt (that's not including interest so it's all come off the balance!)

  • £20 paid off again on Friday. Slow progress on my end but it's still progress. This month has been REALLY tight, and next month isn't looking any better :( Payday next Friday thought so hopefully that will give me a confidence boost as I am not feeling great about my situation at the moment:(
