I've been adding up the cost of my 1 night stay in London at the weekend. I was invited to an event that cost £30, and thought that sounded fine, but hadn't realised we would need to stay in London afterwards. The final bill is just depressing
I spent £27 in Tesc0 last Thur, but the money only came out today. I got a text to tell me I only have £3.50 to last me til the 30th. I'm not a miracle worker, so I've had to borrow £130 from my savings (minimum I need is £110, but £20 for emergencies)
I think I just have to call this one a 'lesson learnt'. Can't spend life in a box minding every penny, but I've had the experience once, and don't need to repeat it!0 -

#101 here checking in with some good and bad news with regards to my debt...
The bad news is that I have been having so much trouble at work that I have decided to join a union, in my deep unhappiness I have also made a decison to retrain in another field which has set me back a total of £1,314.35
The good news is that i've started tackling the debt again and have paid an additional £250.00. I will continue to add these payments to the amount I have paid off (even though i've added to it if you see what I mean!)...I think it's going to take a hell of a lot longer now but I guess I always knew I was in it for the long haul....feeling a bit miserable

blubella sorry work's not going so good for you, hope it gets a little easier soon. It's a short term thing that will pay off in the long run though - you're investing to make yourself happier at work. If you delay in the interests of saving money, you'll ultimately just push yourself into resenting the debts even more, and feel miserable 24/7!0
