:) i have had the o/d for over 10 years so it looks a bit weird looking at the statement and seeing 0.00, but i am going to close the account now as it is a joint one and that chapter of my life is over, very bitter as exH ran the debts up then had an affair and left (together 30 years) and i was left to repay everything, sorry got a bit emotional there, onwards and upwards eh

Its nice to finally get rid of that last tie. I was in a similar situation (5 years though... and not married!) and paying off that last tax credit overpayment was like the final tie we had and getting rid was so awesome! No more jointly addressed letters
Well done, I am working on my CC before my OD, but I cannot wait to get rid and close the account, just to see the £0.00!0 -
I'm not working on anything in particular at the moment, once I have paid off my OU fees I'll be eyeing up the sofas though! Not a whole lot left to pay on those and I would like to pay it off before it is due to end in March 2015...0

I am so :mad: :mad::mad:
I have been trying to sort out my promotion for 8 months now. I submitted the first part on 1st Nov, but the person who was supposed to sign it off didn't get round to it until February. OK, it's a busy time, I wasn't happy about waiting so long, but accepted it. Once the first bit was submitted in February, I submitted the application for promotion, which takes 2 weeks, so should have been sorted by March. At the end of march, I was told it had all been approved, and I'll get a letter confirming my pay rise by April. Today they told me it's still not approved! And I doubt the pay rise will be back paid either... I am seriously ready to just hand my notice in and walk away :mad:
I can't help but be p*seed at how much I've bent over backwards to accommodate this job, and this is not the kind of recognition I deserve! I'm so glad I'm already job hunting! I just wish there were jobs in my industry just now!0 -

So yours would be £340/£4600 (If my maths is correct!) just makes it easier for minicooper to do her spreadsheet as that is how she updates it
Thanks Marliei completely understand why youre mad, what a ****take! they should be ashamed and im sure theyll be sorry once youe found a better job that treats you as you deserve!
I'm still fairly annoyed. I was looking to move on for some wider experience, before I get type-cast into my current line of work. It wasn't anything personal against the company, so I don't want to leave with a sour taste in my mouth.
freespirit my multi-quote didn't work right. Well done on paying off your overdraft :beer: What a horrible exOH, I don't get people like that! I'm glad you're free of that legacy now, and can put it behind you.0 -

Oh thankyou MARLIEPANDA it is so nice to see the back of things knowing you dont have to deal with it anymore, everrrrri cleared the o/d also as it had the bigger interest charges
