Hi Bonglecat back again, I was part of the challenge for 2012 and then started 2013 but ran away when things started to go a bit wrong, sorry. Can I join again now please?

Anyway, the debt on my signature is split into the M&S credit card which is mine and a joint loan which was to pay off DHs numerous credit cards, so I am only counting my debt which means my starting total is £2501.27. I am currently paying at the rate of £200 per month but I am hoping to make some lump sum reductions throughout the year by living frugally, fingers crossed.

Welcome back Bonglecat - good luck for the year ahead :) You're number 186 this year.

    Hello

    My current debt is 4260/4600

have slowed down loads. I have paid a lot out, car insurance, spends on the house and most recently the small furry creatures.

my aim to is get it down to 4000 at the end of this month. However this leaves 4000 which means paying 571 pounds a month.

not sure how possible that is but we shall see!

Sorry I don't check in very often, I must try harder

Hey Buffy! You need to write is as £*amount paid off*/£* starting debt*

So yours would be £340/£4600 (If my maths is correct!) just makes it easier for minicooper to do her spreadsheet as that is how she updates it :)

Hi everyone, finally my overdraft is paid off and a small last payment today on one credit card, just one more credit card to go :):) i have had the o/d for over 10 years so it looks a bit weird looking at the statement and seeing 0.00, but i am going to close the account now as it is a joint one and that chapter of my life is over, very bitter as exH ran the debts up then had an affair and left (together 30 years) and i was left to repay everything, sorry got a bit emotional there, onwards and upwards eh :D
