I'd use white or dark chocolate and temper it - the spoons will be lovely and shiny then! Our Rainbow Twins born 17th April 2016

feisty - Happy baking, glad I could be of help
chrissy - yes I think no5 is my fave too
freespirit - I did a little chocolate haul at mozza's yesterday, I have hid and packed it away so I can't be tempted...easily :rotfl:
the big tubs of chocs (celebrations/roses ect) are 2 for £8 in Mozza's or £5 per tin. Choc oranges are £1 each, but be careful as they have 'normal' ones, but also they have still kept out the one's with footballs on. So if you don't want it with a football on just take noteSmartie/picknmix/fruitpastilles tubes are £1 each too and lots of other goodies like popcorn, pretzals are on good offers for anyone doing movie/christmas eve hampers and things.
I am off down so sains soon, just to see if there is anything of interest to top some gifts up, but also to finish getting the fruit for the christmas cakes. I actually got side tracked in mozza's by the christmas chocolate and forgot to pick the rest up:o but it is alot closer for me to just 'nip' to sains than go back there. I may pick another couple bottles of lambrusco up for OH and OH's dad too whilst there. I am feeling super christmassy at the moment
:santa2::xmassmile:rudolf: my brothers minion calendar has arrived from studio now, so that's all my gifts arrived. Very happy with everything.
Right bobbing off, plenty to do. Back over the weekend at some bpoint.Christmas is the most magical time of the year :santa2:

Although, the football ones would be excellent for any football-mad kids/grandkids/nieces/nephews/big kids/OHs/DHs :rotfl:Our Rainbow Twins born 17th April 2016

I use the lidl chocolate bars, I think they are usually 69p for a large bar, but for the past 2 years they put them on offer at 19p each! Its usually early November, and I get 10 bars each of milk, dark & white, and this fulfills all my chocolate spoons, slabs, truffles etc!
It tastes beautiful, nice & creamy, and they melt well & still taste great after they have re set.

pinknfluffy28 - Zombie hamper sounds AMAZING!!
Re chocolate spoons - I learnt the hard way that if you want white chocolate to set use the cheapest you can find. I bought some super yummy Green and Blacks to make truffles one year (I do believe good quality dark chocolate makes yummier truffles)... didn't set... googled and discovered that cheapest sets better... ggrr! I used the truffle mix as ice cream sauce instead, it may of had malibu in itlol x
I hope you know your capable, & brave, & significant.
