    Morning lovelies!

I think it went ok yesterday. I ran out of time during my presentation but I'm not sure how the individual bit went. We will know by 10am on Monday because myself and my trainee are at suncare training that day.

Anyway I'm off to be a jellyfish today for a charity event at the shop.

I'm jealous of the Christmas buys ha

Love and hugs to all xxx

Nana and MrsInvis are back yay!

Sorry I missed birthdays, it's all been a bit manic :(

Feeling a bit low at the moment and I'm about to start 5 weeks of double shifts, so that's not really helping. I've made the big decision to quit my work placement as soon as my credit card is paid (and hopefully when we have a few hundred as a savings buffer). I've let myself be pulled along into bank work and the money is less than when I woke as self employed (less than half an hour!) and more stressful.

The only positive it has over it is that it is regular work BUT I was working as self employed for 3 years before this and luckily we managed to pay the bills every month. I just need to be around a bit more for DH and not so stressed for when we start IVF. Plus the paper business is doing really well, but I just don't have the time to photograph and list all my new designs, which means it's not reaching it's full potential.

I'm at my placement for 22.5 hours a week and it's spread across 5 days, I'd only need to nurse through my agency for 10.5 hours to make the same money, it's a no brainer, but it's taken me a while to make the decision as I like the people and it was nice feeling like part of a team (gets a bit lonely working in a new dental practice every day).

Sorry to waffle on, it's just been taking up a lot of my thoughts and it's kind of nice (and confirming it's the right decision!) to see it all written in black and white!

We have paid a visit to our brand new Wilkinsons in Rotherham today, they have a range of toiletries [fruity] which are on offer 3 for £3 this can include a bath shaped holder ideal for hampers. It would only take about £6 to make a nice gift.

Its way too hot here I am praying for rain and a storm would be nice:cool:

Halfcost have free delivery on orders over £5 until the 20th.

Families. Ohs nephew lives a couple of houses down. I don't speak to them but oh takes dd to see all his family regularly. Today the nephews gf knocked could she borrow the pump to blow up ghe paddling pool. I would've said no had I answered door but oh lent it out.

Fast forward and at least 10 members of his family go past our house (culdesac) and later dd asks if her nan is in their house. I said I didn't know. She saidishe could hear her and does her nan love x and y more than her.

It's been coming as dd is her granddaughter and the others are her great grandchildren and dd is 9 and before she was born and when we used to speak she had said to me "ive raised my kids so don't be asking me for help" to be honest I wouldn't anyway but it wasn't nice.

True to her word she has never so much as taken her out for the day or invited her for tea ever. She has the great grand children sleepover go to town to their christening etc. I dearly wanted to say no she hates me more than she loves you. I just changed the subject but feel so sorry for her.

Its hard though as even if we made up tomorrow I couldn't let dd stay there as we have very different life styles and her door has been but through by police and criminals in the past and I just couldn't put her at risk like that. I

t was a family bbq I think I'm just more annoyed they knocked for the pump and didn't mention it then as her nan was climbing into a taxi dd rushes over for a hug and nan aska why didn't you come. They could've leaned out the window and called her at any point. I just need to bite the my tongue and let dd put the pieces together in her head. Grrrrrrr. Sorry for off loading.

Ameyturtle ive everything crossed for you. In my mind you were trying to be organised to know where you were going to plan your journey.

Free spirit when y o u say 23 Fridays it is a bit mad. How was the millionaire shortbread coffee the second time. I loved the gingerbread.

Good luck feisty its a brave decision but it's right I think as there is no stability in many jobs now you do grab at what there is but you know you can do this good luck.

Omo whers are you mrs Christmas are you ok x

Mojoworking - so sorry to hear of your family situation, I think it's one of the worst when you can clearly see one child not being treated the same as the others for any reason. I often feel for my cousins, like they are a bit shut out because their mum came to her senses and left my uncle. Though to be honest, he's alcoholic scum of the earth who has no doubt done all he can to turn them against us... He told them it was grandads fault he went to prison...Uh no more like being caught god knows how many times over the limit on numerous occasions... All Grandad did was tell him he wasn't welcome to live there any more after he started to smash windows and start fights.... but you know... some people....
Though I'm first to admit my Dad was always nannys favourite, and in turn I was ;) I know they aren't supposed to have them but sometimes they do, lol.

I've been kinda absent lately.... been a busy busy bee! My dads back off to Germany working again tomorrow, for 10 days this time, so we've had to get the boat all ready to go on holiday as he will only be back a few days before we go. We've put a new floor in, cut a fuel line oops, replaced for one without a hole :P, fiberglassed around the edges, painted it with stuff to stop water, made new engine bay, and seats, covered them all, it's looking really smart now!!
Then I had to make a hogwarts castle cake! :o! very difficult... not sure how good it looks. And went shopping for hair dye :D, got my colour b4 which is supposed to help with the henna situation, did a strand test seemed to work... a random platinum blonde bleach to get it pale enough for a pack of Bleach london minis... 3 colours
2nd row, right hand side - Washed up mermaid
3rd row, left hand - sea punk
and bottom row, middle - blullini
    IMG_2043.jpg

I'm also having more Avon turf wars :( some lady phoned me today and told me I was on HER street... :o! She was on mine!! stupid street has FIVE!! Post codes... one of which is mine, the rest she can fight over with whoever else has them... I've sent her a message of all the postcodes and which one covers which houses, and which ones are mine. But I know she got a order from one of them today :'( lost sales :'( boo! Just typing a note for customers, basically says was a bit of post code confusion but I'm the one that is supposed to be there not the imposter... worded in a much nicer way obviously ;)

    x
I hope you know your capable, & brave, & significant.
even when it feels like your not....

    Evening everyone,

FEISTY its hard making big decisions like that, are you doing the right thing etc but you have said it all, you may as well work less hours for the same money, and have time for DH as well as the paper business, good luck with it all

CHRISSY oh thanks for the halfcost postage tip

MOJOWORKING oh they sound just like my in laws, she was a bitter, poisonous woman who wasnt interested in my kids at all it was always the other grandchildren, i think my kids were taken out for the day once, and even then she had to take my SIL and son, couldnt just spend time with mine. I just distanced myself as much as i could, you wouldnt believe the things she said about her own kids and their kids so god knows what she said about me and mine  and they used to have 'family' bbqs and not invite us, not that i was bothered i couldnt stand any of them tbh but the kids didnt understand when they were little, now none of them or me have anything to do with her, she totally ruined my DD1s 21st birthday by accusing us of having a party behind their backs, she was such a liar and never more happy than when she was upsetting people. As far as i am concerned we are so much better off out of it all and i certainly dont want her anywhere near my grandchildren. BTW my own mother said that to me, 'dont be expecting me to look after your kids regularly' it was her first grandchild!!! In fact the first time she had them overnight they were 9 and 7!!

Im not sure still about the millionaires shortbread flavour, i dont know if it is a bit sweet for me.
