newthrift - oh no! touch wood I've not had any hair oops moments yet, only the cutting it into a bob lesson learnt short hair does not suit me! lol. The blonde one does look awesome doesn't it I soo wish I could get away with it... Sounds like you had a very busy weekend!! I've not attempted growing potatoes yet... maybe next year...
princesskitty29 - sorry to hear your sad news*hugs*
xI hope you know your capable, & brave, & significant.

Princesskitty sorry for your news it is such a hard time well done for making both . . . Best remember your hospital bag just in case eh!
Freespirit it wa called COmmon. I was impressed at how it was revealed it truly was a case of wrong place wrong time and the poor kum trying to pay for the funeral that was heart breaking. I can't stop thinking that there are people who are in prison who may have done nothing but may have been faced with a choice of six years or life.. frightening.
Lovely day big walk fab pub lunch fab but not healthy. Everything has been great x0 -

Good morning, just getting started on this one, sleep pattern back to normal (for me) all washing up to date, DGS waking up ready for school, he seems to have grown taller since l went away! Grass cut, Nev the shred has done the plans for phase 2 of the garden plan, and it will (hopefully) start this week. I brought back over £200 worth of spending money so that will help to pay for the slate chippings, and the housework can wait until the rains start.
My time out there was lovely, the grandnibs gave me a lovely party, with egg butties and cupcakes, and loads of hugs and cuddles. Thay had made this huge banner, which said 'welcome to China, Grandma' and dgd had made me a calendar/diary to write in what we did each day, so that is now on the wall here.
We went to the paleontology museum and I had to climb up 196 steps to get in. The nibs stood at the top shouting encouragement and cheering each flight l did, then at the last flight they were chanting 'yey, grandma, go grandma, bestest grandma, yaaaaay' so l arrived at the top cream crackered to applause from the (usually inscrutable) people also at the top.
DDIL had arranged lots of pampering for us, pedicures, massages, hair do's and the like, no wonder l cried when it was time to go home!
Now, it is plans for their Christmas visit, and, Nanamia, guess what, they are coming UK long stay, 2015 summer!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Back to the present though, and it is time to start the schoolboy up.0 -

dont know whats up with me yesterday i had a really busy day and at one point was talknig to someone i hadnt seen for a while and i just suddenly felt like bursting into tears, i made a quick excuse i remembered i had to be somewhere and dashed off. then in the afternoon i was trying to catch up with the ironing pile and just sat looking at it thinking whats the point, i felt so tired it hurt. i sat on the settee and was woken by my phone rining 30mins later. i NEVER sleep in the daytime.
busyish day today have promised id do show and tell for the kis in 'ny' class so taking my pet tortoise up later, was having nails done this afty but lady has texted to say she needs to cancel as her dad has an hospital appt. can totally understand her putting him first. think ill save the money and do them myself.
mil has one hospital appt this week and then its the op next week. thank fully the schools finish this friday so ive got all summer off to look after her should she need me.
glad the weather is ok today DS2 is on a school trip to alton towers, was my proud parent moment yesterday at his school awards evening he got 50% shares in the trophy for highest attendance, being a little gentleman he has let the young lady hes sharing it with take the 1st 6 months ownership. they get it for a year then hand it back but do get a little keepsake medal to commemorate the occasion.
hugs and good wishes to all who need them.SPC~12 ot 124

MrsI Sounds like you enjoyed your trip to China. Could you fit me in your suitcase next time? :rotfl:A good life is when you assume nothing, do more, need less, smile often, dream big, laugh a lot, and realise how blessed you are.
