freespirit66 - I'll be sure to post a piccy for you
. Who needs friends like that eh! When I feel weepy I indulge myself, I have tea and chocolate and watch a depressing film and fall asleep crying, and wake up puffy eyed and icky but feel much better for it... Sometimes indulgence is the only answer
I wish I was blonde so I could get away with hair like this.... http://media-cache-ak0.pinimg.com/736x/5f/4f/3f/5f4f3fbbfacce936c6b4211a270fc90a.jpg
But I'm not so this is what I'm aiming for > http://media-cache-ec0.pinimg.com/736x/ff/b9/1c/ffb91cedbade6a69d5fcbc1869137203.jpg
I think it's short hair makes me dye it!
When I was 16 my mum let me have it cut shoulder length, then dark underneath was "in" so I went blonde underneath... then I had a bob cut and cried for a week, it was horrid! So then I went blonde all over for about 2 years, then back to brunette, then I bleached the ends. Then my hair was down to my elbows and I stopped attacking it with chemicals, I actually spent a summer with it up in a bun with a scarf round it every day.... well couple months ago in an attempt to make it healthy again I had 6inches off, then another 4inches six weeks later, now I have hair which feels really short to me, it's to my arm pits so it isn't but it feels like I have no hair, and now I want to dye it again! I think I've found my issue lol.
I also think I've spent too long googling hair today... I blame the tennis and the F1 bleh!
x
PIXTOTTS yes i definitely need a good weepy film, coffee and chocolate x OMG i love those piccies, i have never seen that green it is unusual and beautiful, i am the same i actually dyed my hair for the first time at 10 :eek::eek: how awful is that??? Morning fellow christmas addicts
I have been very busy since Thursday and Friday-Sunday have been non stop so I have lots to catch up on, but just wanted to pop first to say hope everyone is well.Christmas is the most magical time of the year :santa2:
Mum to two boys :heartpuls0 -
I am now caught up, my goodness I must not miss for this long/short again you lot can chatter
I will try and remember as much as I can so apologies now as I am bound to have forgot something(s)!!!
NAN - glad to see you back posting and BD is lifting!!
pixitotts - the picture with the blonde looks fab and so does the green! Hope it comes out as you want!! I am just blonde and I daren't do anything much different to it as had a bad experince a few years ago when I was 13/14 (actually thats 10 years ago now ) and ended up having it dark to cover up the mistake hairdresser made and it has traumatised me ever since:rotfl:
chirssy - fab news for the refund :T and I hope your daughter is still improving.
mrsI - I hope you start to feel a little bit human again soon and glad you had a great time
Somebody asked me to post a picutre of my mum's birthday cake, I will see if I can attach it on later when I get home.
Work is just awful, I am clearly being elbowed out but I refuse to go without a payout so they can stuffMe and OH went out for tea last night, was lovely to get some time together as this weekend we have been so busy with multiple thing's we haven't had much alone time! We had a wedding on Saturday night and that was fab, we danced so much I thought my feet might fall off and my OH's feet even hurt and he was in flat shoes - obviously would be very strange if he was wearing heels:rotfl:
I dug up lots of potato's at the allotment yesterday so I have some of the diddys in my salad today and we will have some with our chicken tonight :T it's so exciting!!
I did 3hours of digging and weeding, I have a lovely vest tan now
Unfortunately due to the jobs that were keeping us very busy this weekend OH wasn't able to be with me whilst I was doing this and it was a shame he missed out on digging the first proper potato batch up as I know he would of loved it. Luckily lots more to come up so he I'll make sure he does them
This week I need to catch up on house jobs - literally cleaning and ironing as I got none of it done this weekend so this evening we will be catching up on ourselves a llittle as well as sat with a tea relaxing and enjoying some time together:kisses3:
Well done to all you who have wrapped and got more gifts!!
Not much on the Christmas front has got done, but I have picked odd bits and had some idea's for people.
I'll stop babbling on now, I am sure I have missed loads out so again very sorry!!!!!!!
Hugs to anyone who needs/wants! Hopefully I will keep up better this weekChristmas is the most magical time of the year :santa2:

freespirit I hope your back is better now? I blame feeling weepy on the hormones they have a lot to answer for!! We finally decided to buy a Babyjogger City Mini GT pushchair as it will fit into our lifestyle quite well. Glad we've finally made a decision!
Nanamia glad to see you back! I was actually going to send you a PM today but you're back and that's great!
Ameyturtle sorry people at work are being frustrating, there's always one! Hope your head is better now.
CHRISSYG Yay for the Centre Parcs refund!
Pixtotts good luck with dying your hair, that green looks lovely. Hope the bad smell doesn't linger too long!0 -
DH's granddad died during the week which was really sad
, it was expected but also came as a relief really as he'd been in hospital since February and couldn't do anything which was hard to see. We found out yesterday that the funeral is the same day as one of my oldest friends weddings! And it's on the other side of the country! I know it can't be helped but it is really frustrating that it's fallen on the same day - my friends wedding is the only major thing we've had in the diary that can't be changed. So we now have to go to the funeral in the morning then drive for 3hrs to my friends wedding but we will miss the ceremony and I was supposed to be doing a reading which I now can't do. We can't possibly miss either so we have to compromise on both things. I'm just hoping I can go the distance as it will be 3 weeks from my due date and i'm already shattered most of the time! I'm also hoping DH will be ok as it will be difficult to go from a funeral to a wedding. I'm sorry I know I sound moany and selfish it's just that with al this free time I have now I can't quite believe two such important things have fallen on the same day! I'm sure it will be fine though, we will do the best we can.

Afternoon everyone, i had quite a good nights sleep last night and feel much better today
and my back is a lot lot better so i cleaned my grimy bathroom for the first time since i hurt it, i really hate housework
:D:D
GETTINGTHEREQUICKLY yes i do like Jimmy McGoverns writing, i was tempted to google joint enterprise straight after and then thought i bet there are flipping thousands doing it right now but i am going to because i have never heard of it before its very thought provoking
NEWTHRIFT oh that made me feel sad you saying you think you are being elbowed out of your job, that is awful. Good for you for not making it easy for them. Well done on your tatties
PRINCESSKITTY thankyou it is a lot better and no more booing todayOh the pram looks lovely (just googled it) its so hard making a decision like that isnt it especially when it is so much money, DD2 is coming over tomorrow for lunch after her exam, i must see if they have had time to look at prams. Sending my condolences to you and DH, oh what a shame being on the same day, it will be a long day for both of you without all the driving!! You will have to keep your hospital bag and notes in the car just in case!!!
DS came home upset the other day as two of his closest female friends are both getting married on the same day next year, he couldnt believe it. But sadly he has had to let one girl down as he cant do both and the other girl he is her man of honour instead of her having a maid of honour :rotfl::rotfl:

PrincessKitty So sorry to hear of your sad news. It is so sad that he died before he got a chance to meet the new addition to the family.A good life is when you assume nothing, do more, need less, smile often, dream big, laugh a lot, and realise how blessed you are.

Jimmy McGovern's stuff is good. The bit at the end just reminded the viewers that Joint Enterprise is a real life issue.A good life is when you assume nothing, do more, need less, smile often, dream big, laugh a lot, and realise how blessed you are.

Hopefully your third important event doesn't throw another spanner in the works for you:oA smile costs little but creates much0
