Money is so tight at the moment , I have always been over the top buying gifts for special occasions so going to curb it. Trying tipsy off debts! That and the fact I have a swollen painful neck gland and bad head tonight is my grumble!

Morning all, been reading every day but have had nothing much to contribute Christmas wise.

To everyone who is ailing, I wish you speedy recovery, to those in need to comfort, I send you all mine, to those in need of support, I offer my shoulder & to those in need of money, tough luck, I've got none either :)

I plan on working the Christmas budget next month & setting up my spreadsheets/idea list then too. I need to work to a MUCH tigter budget this year as I am trying to save 10k by Christmas to pay the tax man & have an emergency fund due to my job being up in the air after the end of this year, so I will be getting tricky with sales, ebay & even boot fares.

I have also got a giant pile of stuff to sell on ebay now, just sold a pair of shoes for £5.50 so that will stay in paypal till the fund increases. Anyone looking for kids toys look for Ponk123 on ebay, the batcave & castle of doom & associated figure will be going on in the next few days and ds doesn't know it yet but his play room is going to be stripped of anyting I haven't seen him play with in the last 6 months (pretty much everything then!!) :D

I have to make up a £1k short fall in accumulated monthly budget by year end too so oh is being sent out gigging at the weekends & trying to set up for private art work for him as well. so we are all doing our bit.

Apart from that the camping is our new "thing", hoping it will give us a few holiday like weekends without the actual holiday prices. Nearly got everythign together, just waiting on a few deliveries of sale/ebay stuff then, weather permitting, we should be good to go.
I don't respond to stupid so that's why I am ignoring you.

    This is me!!

freespirit66 Glad to know I'm not the only one :P. Have you tried the body shop hand cleansers? They are a bit more expensive than I'd like really :/ but they smell sooo good!!!

mrs-moneypenny hope your DS is feeling better soon!
Tonsillitis is a !!!!!! :( I used to get it allll the time, my doctor gives me a spare dose of antibiotics because we diagnose it ourselves now only go for a prescription. I was threatened with having them removed if I got it bad again, we think they just wanted my tonsils in a jar though because they are giant tonsils even when I'm healthy. My doctor was nowhere near as good with her advise when I had it bad though, she told my mum if I stopped breathing or went blue just to take me to hospital... my mum was like nah I thought I'd have a cup of coffee see how it went ;) lol.

Don't know if you've tried it but you can get a spray goes straight onto the throat, used to be prescription only but you can buy it over the counter now, it's like miracle stuff! Ultra chloraseptic anaesthetic throat spray, don't bother with the flavours they taste ickier than the original :), I also use it for tooth ache... it doesn't last long but those few seconds/mins of relief are amazing!

Quidsy depending on how willing you are to rough it, when I was little we used to caravan in a famers fields so camping could work out even cheaper than you expect ;) . We have some really money saving friends, who went to a wedding in ireland and rather than booking into a hotel or b&b like everyone else camped! Can you imagine seeing a family climbing out of a tent all dressed up ready to go to a wedding!! lol

    x
I hope you know your capable, & brave, & significant.
even when it feels like your not....

OMG, how funny. I think my oh would murder me if I did that, we are starting out "soft" so electrical outlet but 19 quid a night camping fee. Depending on how that goes I may or may no, buy a camping potty, a site I found is doing one for 19.99 includes a plastic seat surround & lid, so he has agreed to one trip to test the loo situation (he has stomach problems!) and go from there.

Saying that though, if this bladdy weather doesn't improve we might not be going anywhere!

I am glad this is not just me :rotfl:

GTQ - Thank you for the advise, I will start having a look at my plan and will do mine a little earlier than normal as it will be less stressful. I must admitt I do decorate ours in a novel way with figures I make as I really enjoy doing that, but the one's for other people will be having very simple/basic deisgns that look pretty so as I don't get too stressed.
pixtotts, beg, freespirit, mrsm - Thank you, he is fine now I think! It has been confirmed that the car can be repaired so on the look out for parts/panels now - well he and the person fixing it are although I don't know how much my brother knows about what to look for  I did text him to say I was glad he was OK and once he is back on the road I would appericate if he would be more careful (18months & 3 bumps in two cars that aren't big big but enough to cause damage to the car) and through lack of concentration is a little annoying!! whoops sorry little bit of a rant there but through worrying about him!
mrsm - I hope your DS feels better soon!!
JJ - you are fully entitled to a grumble, you really have been around the houses bless you!! I really do hope things start picking up for you!!
BEG - Thanks :) Ooooo I am glad to hear it is nice, I have never been just heard lots of good reports :D I have heard the charity shops are meant to be quite good due to being an affulent area :D

Not much to report, I will be trying to make a list & iron/pack what we need for Harrogate so it is done. Will keep my eyes peeled for bargin christmas gifts when I am shopping to.
Busy couple of days possibly so if I don't get back on to write before I go everyone have a lovely weekend - I will try and at least read!
Hugs & happy vibes to those who need!!
Christmas is the most magical time of the year :santa2:
