I wonder where all these similarities will end eh?

Lovely to see you posting again Ruth. One of the books that I have read recently and enjoyed on kindle (it was free at the time) Twenty Eight and a Half Wishes by Denise Grover Swank. I think it is the first in a series so will wait until the other are free or very cheap
.
Well that lovely sunshine is in hiding this morning and we have a 'weather warning' for this afternoon. First load of washing just finished - now do I hang it out and risk it or turn the house into a chinese laundry?
Have a good day everyone.

I've got that book to read on my kindle too. Just spent a while sorting recently downloaded kindle books into categories. Really should stop getting library books out and read what I've got on kindle and 'proper' books I've got stacking up.Own_My_Own wrote: »I have had the strangest evening. I bought Fingers a few t-shirts on FB. Went to the house to collect them and stayed 2 hours. It was mad. The lady that was selling the tops was a complete stranger but somehow we just clicked. I really feel like I have made a friend.
We just laughed the whole time.
It may seem strange but I feel like my BFF is telling me to move on. She will always be my BFF in my heart, but it was just so strange how I met a complete stranger and just knew that we would be friends for a long time.
There is no change in BFF. I really don't think that is going to be a change. The right side of her brain is showing no life at all. If it was going to show any improvement it would have happened by now.
Am going to read back now. I just had to share my strange day with you all.
Wow, that's strange, but nice and comforting too.
I've been to Center Parcs a few times and loved it. Hardly did any extra activities though. Falconry was good and I think I may have done badminton once too. Mainly, I live in the pool and enjoy wandering round the site. Which one are you going to? Sorry if you've already said and I've missed/forgotten it.Cross Stitch Cafe Monthly Challenge Member #27

I went to Sherwood CP for my 30th. I'm pretty sure that's where I did the falconry. I held a kookaburra and they're so cute! Hope you have good BBQ weather when you go.Cross Stitch Cafe Monthly Challenge Member #27

Just caught up on the past couple of days.
OMO - I am in awe of your bargin buys!! Sorry to hear that there is not much improvement with your friend, sending hugs your way!!
Nanamia - Thank youhaha it's just too much fun having the label maker, although I am beginning to run out of thing's to label now
:rotfl:
Freespirit - Thanks!! I do enjoy thinking I can sit down for 1/2 an hour and do a scarf, although I would like to try a longer task at somepoint. A couple of our friends are hoping for a baby so maybe I will have to attempt a baby hat. How did the knitting task go?
I did sit and jot some idea's down yesterday for people's Christmas gift's in my 'chirstmas binder'although I have not wrote any idea's I have for OH as knowing my luck he will see it, so will jot them down on my phone instead
I also tried to do a little list for the birthday we have to buy for up until Christmas so I know what I am getting, which I have done most, again got to hide part of the list from OH as it has his birthday gift's on and I am quite chuffed with myself.
In a couple of weeks he goes to Magluf on a stag-do for the weekend so I might go and buy + wrap them all ready.
Whoops this is a slightly longer post than orignally intended.
Enjoy your day & the sun if it is shining where you are too.Christmas is the most magical time of the year :santa2:

Just a quick pop on, don't know if anyone else went for the Pearl necklace, bracelet and earrings deal? I was on the ball at work and luckily got a set for myself. Was going to order one for my OH's brothers GF for Christmas as she would like it but just seen the message that it sold out within 10minutes, barmy!!
Anyway, when it arrives will be going to my OH to hide away until I reach my 1/2 stone weight loss target and it will be my well doneas I don't really need to lose much more than that.
Enjoy your evenings!!Christmas is the most magical time of the year :santa2:
