So pleased to hear that you enjoyed the Harry Potter trip. I think I must be the only person on the planet who hasn't read a HP book or seen a HP film :o

I adapted to the varifocals really quickly and as for the stairs - I tend to move my head down anyway as I have a thing about coming down stairs and usually have to hold onto the handrail too but that's just me. :D

Hope you've all had a lovely weekend.

    b_e_g

No, you're not. I've never read any of the books and have no interest in doing so. I did watch a bit of one of the films because they did some filming in Gloucester cathedral and I'm from Gloucester, originally. But, I have to say I found that really boring-sorry to the Potter fans here. It's just not my thing.

I have been checking in, but not posting for a while. Nothing to say, really.
Hugs to those who need them and belated birthday wishes to the birthday girls. :)

Awww...how nice of you to think of me. :) I've been struggling with getting into books at the moment. Am reading another Carole Matthews book (For better, for worse) but I'm finding I'm reading it incredibly slowly. Not sure why because the book isn't boring.
A really light book...? Hmmm...maybe Paper Aeroplanes by Dawn Porter (maybe O'Porter-unsure when she changed her name). It's aimed at young adults, but I enjoyed it and read it quickly. The follow up-Goose-has just come out and I've got it in my pile to read. I ordered some books from The Works over the weekend. They've got loads of books in a 6 for £10 offer (I've got a 20% off code if anyone wants it). Have you looked in the free kindle book charts recently? Might be something there to tempt you.

I saw a nice king size duvet set on Halfcost at the weekend. It was silly cheap! Also worth looking on Bargain Crazy too. Mostly plain bedding the last time I looked, but nice quality. B&M can be good if there's one nearby. You can view online, but need to buy instore.

My friend had her baby this morning. She was due to be induced tomorrow as she was so late. I had my bet on for Sunday morning, so was a day out. She was glad the labour was only 4 hours. Will have to tell her about your 52 minute record, mrs moneypenny! That's amazing.

Eyes are closing, so I'll say goodnight...
