    :bdaycake: Happy Birthday Louise

Thank You all for my birthday wishes. I have had a quiet day. I just did a bit of housework and mowed the lawn. Oh the excitement :rotfl:

    Evening everyone,

Its been so warm today, another frog eaten i actually went to the opticians today, omg its been over 4 years since my last test and set of glasses  they confirmed my longsight had got worse, i have astigmatism in both eyes (didnt know that your eyes can change shape, i thought you were born with it) and i need glasses for reading, was surprised at this as i havent noticed anything wrong, so i have to have varifocals (i feel really old) :D but my actual eyes are healthy, although she wants to keep an eye (snigger) on my pressure test as my nan had glaucoma, so a not very mse day for me today :( tomorrow i am going to Warner Bros Studios for the Harry Potter tour, one of my mothers day presents, i am so excited :rotfl:

NANAMIA oh poor you i didnt realise you were so ill on the 5.2 im so sorry i must have missed that, hope you are feeling much better now, DS has been nagging me today to go back on the 5.2 diet, he is tweaking my new challenges haha, sending lots of healing vibes for DN and baby, poor DN must be worried sick. Hope you have had a good day in the garden with the digger and got lots done.

MRSINVISIBLE oh how exciting for you having your flights booked, it will soon be here.

OMO love the quote, we women of a certain age know about that :D how is your DF doing?

Had a really good day today. The "digger" party started around 8.30am and tailed off with a communal take away and very tired little people about 12 hours later :)
Not caught up yet, too tired but didn't want to let B_e_g down. Will try and put a before and after photo on of the back garden. Still loads to do, but we will get there. Sis don't let that put you off! I'm sure it was a bug! I can't imagine that my body that must've been starved and possibly a little dehydrated would vomit! I'd want to hang on to as much as it could wouldn't it? I didn't starve Friday cos was still quite dehydrated and felt yucky but I will be back on it Tuesday so I will keep you posted. xxx

Freespirit it's always a bit of a surprise when you have to have something you didn't think you needed! And then of course an expense. Hopefully everything will be clearer for you now. :) Have a fantastic time at Harry Potter world - I really want to go there! I was hoping to go before the baby is born but when I get tired it makes me feel sick and it might be a bit of a tiring day. I might just have to deal with it though! Can't wait to hear about your day there. :D

Nanamia it looks like you had a productive day with the digger, looking forward to seeing the updated pics - I am determined to try and stay around now as I enjoy it on here.

What another beautiful day! I'm eating croissants whilst watching DH do the garden. :p He has done a great job, although he's been over efficient and dug up a plant I lovingly planted only about a month ago! Still I can't really complain as he's done such a great job.

I'm going to have another day of pottering. We're currently decorating our guest room so that we can move furniture out of the future nursery room, so got lots of sorting and throwing out to do! Feels very liberating.

I hope you all have a lovely day whatever you're doing. xx

    Morning all,

Having a strange mix of a day today !

I'm painting wood to make a trellis and Christmas shopping online:D. Although its nice to be able to get things done I don't actually like the hot weather .

I've boon booking a few activities for our centre parks trip there as expensive as the holiday itself:eek: its cost £93 for 3 of us to go on a horse & carriage ride /pottery painting and 2 of us on a falconry event, and after booking I've read we will still have to pay for whatever we paint anywhere from £8 -£50 depending on what we choose to paint.

This fasting that some of you are doing is it the 5-2 diet? ive just ordered a book to explain how it works ,any tips ?

Have had varifocals for a year now freespirit and I love them. Mind you for very tiny work (cross stitch with evenweave I take my glasses off) but generally I am very pleased with them. Have eyes checked each year as there is history of glaucoma too. Oh no - just realised it check up time next month - hopefully there will be no change. Enjoy Harry Potter tour.

Only right Nanamia - a promise is a promise :D. Can you imagine your digger party with all us lot there? Oh what fun we would have had.:D Got to tackle our garage at some point (major sort out) and would like to make room for a fridge/freezer but I understand its only certain ones that are suitable for really low temps. Garage is detached and single brick and it does get very cold in winter. Ideally if we could find a good 'pre loved' would be great. I will try and pop into BHF sometime through the week to see if they have anything suitable.

Evening everyone, hope everyone has had a lovely weekend. I had a fab time at Harry Potter Studio tour, i couldnt get the smile off my face when we first got there :D the little kids waiting to get in were so excited it was lovely to see, some even dressed up in Harry Potter cloaks bless em, one little girl was even called Bellatrix :rotfl:saw loads of props and room sets, hagrids hut, the weasley house, dumbledores office, gryffindor common room, the great hall etc then you go outside where you can get a drink and snack, we had a Butterbeer each :D mmm was lovely, saw the night bus, the house in privet drive, and the bridge from hogwarts, then into the next building to the second part of the tour including Diagon Alley, Ollivanders wand shop and the most fantastic model of Hogwarts, absolutely beautiful and the lights dim and tiny lights come on in the model :) then into the shop (whoa prices absolutely ridiculous i just couldnt buy anything) DS wanted me to get him some Bertie Botts Beans a small box for £8.95  he must be mad. Then we had lunch in the cafe (again quite expensive one chicken burger (no accompaniments) a hotdog with a bit of salad, two drinks £16)
There is also a starbucks there. Really enjoyed it.

PRINCESSKITTY it honestly isnt a long day, we were in and out within 3 1/2 hours and that included lunch!!! There are benches throughout to have a sit down (much needed as my back is playing up again) :)

CHRISSY nor do i like hot weather, the kids all had a bbq this afternoon and i was a miserable moo, it was too hot :o those activities sound fab even if a tad expensive

BEG oh nice to know someone who has them and is happy with them, the lady in opticians said they take a bit of getting used to, and to actually move my head downwards instead of just looking downwards especially when using stairs :D thankyou
