I feel like I've been so busy this week it's insane! every day has had a long list of things to do and all involved lots of driving :(
But part of todays list was to go to Hobbycraft make use of the WI voucher I got for a free ball of wool... accidentally came home with 4 (its on 3for2 too!) and pink knitting needles... and have decided on more wool I am going to have to buy before the offer ends.. one has light reflective stuff woven into it, I'm thinking if I keep up the running a nice hat made out of some would be perfect for winter :)

Big problem now though is what to knit with my new wool and needles :/ my problem is I knit VERY tightly so most of the patterns I spot that I like just wouldnt work for me.
And I'm just rambling so I'm off to google x

    Hello all!!

I woke up with a grotty head (no surprise really!) However the sun was shining and after some coffee and medicine I soon perked up. Went to bank with auntie and also brought some lovely nightwear in a charity shop (never really shop in there. No reason really just never think to look!) They were only £3.50 and long legged but a vest instead of t shirt , very my style lol.

I am now planning more stuff for the garage/bar/garden. Comparing prices and looking at discount codes. Did order a gorgeous 6 piece patio furniture set from my studio catalog it was £104 including delivery reduced from £300. Has a crank and tilt umbrella too! We have another small glass table already but it needs some TLC and will get a table cloth for it too and we have 4 chrome chairs good as new in storage for. Our garden is so Tiny lol! With 2 big dogs and one mini dog its hard to do exactly what I want because our Golden doodle dog has a habbit of eating flowers/wood/ornaments! I put the first bit of gravel border up 3 days ago and refuse to put any more up till I am sure she is not tempted to munch on it! So far so good!

Right I am sorry I am rambling so much! Back to google for me too!

Just adding how sad it is that young Stephen Sutton passed away , makes me want to remind my loved ones just how much I love and appriciate them. x

mandco - I need to find a bank with one of those change thingys! I have one of those HUGE whiskey bottles full of 1pence pieces, was over £50 last time I counted :o! And nail art advent calendar sounds brilliant!
I was given one of the ciate ones for Christmas, was half tempted to wait till next advent but I couldn't wait so I'm opening it 2 a month, one at the start and one about half way :). I love it! I keep looking at the make up ones and the nail varnish ones but they are all soooo expensive! And I think if I had an advent one I'd have to use the new colour every day, and kill my nails! I'm now listing all the colours I'm not keen on on ebay (all the pinks and purples), so will hopefully have some pennies back to fund all the other nail varnishes I keep buying...oops...

Avon have their candy cane nail wraps in the Sale book soon ;) (I'm a rep and sneaked a peek ;)). Though don't all go and buy them all! I'm last mail plan and will cry if they are out of stock!! I used them last Christmas they are brilliant! stay on a long time, and super easy, I'm going to get all my friends some for Christmas this year, and stock up myself... :D

So knitting... I've wound up doing a scarf. Boring I know! I saw one on pinterest which was a snood all the same colour, but split into blocks by different stitches, I'm going to try make it stripy with different stitches :)

You arent kidding how expensive baby stuff is, whoa its so long since mine were babies, but its also amazing the different stuff you can get now, i just want to help out as much as i can because as well as the baby they have all the expenses of a new house that also needs a lot of doing up, coming up and DD2 is worrying about it all, my DS her twin is buying the cot and mattress for them so that is two big things out of the way.

I just want to say to the few people who enjoy my challenges DS is trying to get the time to print out the next lot for my folder :D so i havent given up i am just challengeless atm :D

Linky go you lady :) I'm so pleased to see that your signature is growing. You are gonna be in that caravan before you know it :) Thanks for the canvas link, I'm have right trouble trying to get canvases of DGD1, the photos from Oz are all from iPhones and when you upload they're not decent enough quality to have made into canvases. I've had one of DGD2 almost a year now and not put one up without the other :( Phoned printerpix today (I've a groupon voucher) lady was really helpful but the photo files aren't big enough (apparently) xxx
Newthrift hope you manage to sort your canvas xxx
b_e_g have been thinking of you! hope all went well today. You'll be advising on holby by next week :) xxx
Pixtotts have fun but don't be overtiring yourself my lovely. I'm a very tight knitter too ha xxx
Festive Princess have you drawn a plan of how you'd like the garden to look? I'm a bit fed up with thinking about them over the last few days. I've been in the back bedroom hanging out the window working out plans for what I'd like where! We've got the mini JCB coming on Saturday can't wait for a go of that to be honest. Neither can DGD2 :) Then the fencing guy has to come back cos I've changed my mind (several times) since the last quote, but he's got a huge job on till around the 27th weather permitting so nothing is gonna move very fast. The Stephen Sutton story reminded me very much of your guts and inspiration. He,like you, really is/was remarkable xxx
Mandco goodness me your little family have had more than your share of accidents and bugs :( hope everybody is on the mend now. You should join b_e_g and I in our pact. We are trying to pop in at least once a day :) Even just to say hi :) xxx
