    morning all
    hope everyone is well
weather is certainly looking good looks promising for a nice weekend (hope so DS2 is away camping with the scouts)
someone else on a different thread posted about making those bags so i just borrowed their idea as i had plenty of fabric in my stash.
thanks for the good wishes about the bloodtest nanamia . im sure its nothing serious in fact i doubt they will find anything wrong, its mainly a check up. my mum and my sister have thyroid probs so im monitored occasionally, should hear back by monday if they want to see me so no news will be good news.
wasnt in yesterday as i went on a school trip to help out, it was a nice morning then i did my usual shift and a bit of faffing and sewing. want to try and get in the garden at some point today as the front hedge is getting decidedly straggly

    Morning everyone

Not looking so good out today - all the lovely sunshine we had yesterday is in hiding. Hope it makes an appearance later as it makes you feel so much better.

Anyway went for screening last night and my results are 'normal' :j. Dr told me I had a 'lovely looking colon' must make up for my face. :D While it was maybe a bit embarrassing knowing that everything is fine made it all worthwhile. Due to have smear in a few months but I think I just see them as a necessary evil.

Will catch up with you all later.

Thanks Mrs M. It's still very damp here :( so drying washing indoors (heating on and windows open). Had hoped to get the lawns cut but I don't think that is going to happen somehow. Bought some plants for garden today so we might be able to get them potted up before Mum's drs appt. Got an absolute bargain yesterday - looking for one of the large hydrangea plants for DB and SIL's anniversary, we went into Mr S's and they had four whoopsied to £1.99 each . At first DH thought they said £11.99 which wouldn't have been much of a reduction so we ended up putting 3 of them in for £5.97 - pity we didn't have DS's discount card as we could have got another 10% off but that would have just been greedy now wouldn't it ;). So DH said well if that's all it cost us we can get them a bigger pot for theirs - got one from Wilkos of about £3.50 so not too bad a deal.

Maybe better go now and get something done otherwise the afternoon will have gone and I will still be sat here.

SFAM oh what a lovely thing to say, thankyou, i do hope so, i love hearing about your special times with your DGDs and i want to be as close to mine as you are to yours, oh i used to love the way she folded her towels heehee and all her linen and towels were white, i could never have white in this house  you will have to watch some of TBBT with Sheldon Cooper, at first when the kids had it on i hated it and thought he was such a weirdo, but where its always on i love it now and find it so funny.

    Hello.

Nan- Thank you :) you always have lovely words! Nope not drawn it out , its a work in progress with my mind changing often! The only thing that is properly decided is the patio furniture! My target for this weekend is to go to poundland and get the other 6 little fencing things , once they are in place I can order the bags of gravel to go in the garden border, then because of money and several birthdays coming up I can't do much more for a while! June the 15th if my aim to finish date , that includes have the bar built lol! I can dream right?

Sorry to moan but I have another bad throat! I was on double penecillin a month ago for a throat infection and now I have another! I don't have tonsils no more but this feels just as yucky as tonsillitis especially as my ear keeps playing up with it lol.

    Rightio! Off for now!

Much love and hugs to all !

Forgot to add if you have a kindle or the kindle app amazon are giving a free voucher when enables you to buy kindle books for a pound each! I have brought my voucher for 0 pence lol So will look more into what books you can purchase then let u know :)

junior_j - Sadly you can actually get tonsillitis with no tonsils...
Which is partly why they don't like removing them any more (except in extreme cases). My mum still gets it sometimes but had her tonsils out when she was 11 :(
