greetings from Cardiff- the Dr Who experience was a bit of a let down ,the guided bit was good but the rest of it is basically outfits and a few props not much thought gone into presentation.I got an email about a month ago saying they had Tardis quilt covers in but there were none in the shop when i asked they said they were in the warehouse !! Why advertise them if they aren't easily available ,i asked for one and had to wait quite a while for them to get one.The shop overall was nothing special.
. Cardiff Bay however is lovely as is the main shopping area.

Freespirit, do you freelance? that is gorgeous, clever clever you!!!
Chez Invis is just a midden, but as I am out of it and in the garden whenever the weather allows I only see it for an hour or two in the evening. We are in for a wet weekend, so I may tackle it then, (God invented rainy days, so that gardeners could do their housework).
Then again it is my London jolly starting Monday and I will need to pack for it, having tea at the Ritz, so will need a posh frock, Primarni or Mataloon perhaps. (no, borrow friends lovely 'tea dress')
Got 4 more wooden crates from friendly greengrocer to paint up and fill with plants for summer, I have offered to do him one so customers see it and he may be able to sell the crates for a bob or two, and they will get recycled rather than trashed.
    Now, onwards and upwards!

beg, ive not heard of those type of tests before what age do you need to be to get invited to those or is it a regional thing? my mums in her 70s and she only gets the sample in the post type invite. i cant believe you are older than me let alone my mum.

I hadn't heard of these before either Mrs M. Apparently they are screening men and women aged 55 this way and then when you get to 60 you send a sample in the post. Don't envy the people at the other end opening the post mind you :rotfl: Anyway I have had a good think about it and I have filled in the form to say that I will attend (maybe - unless I chicken out beforehand). :o
Afternoon everyone, i thought i would bore you all with some piccies :rotfl:

DS went to a Dr Who exhibition in Manchester (several years ago now) with a friend and they were quite disappointed with it too. Enjoy the rest of your break.

the devil in me would so want to be asked what was in my package at the post office and see the look on the servers face:rotfl: im pretty sure it would be on the post office banned list;)
(mums told me its a discrete sample and not a bulky item so it just goes straight in the post box)
