    :bdaycake: Happy Birthday Quidsy :bdaycake:

    HAPPY ST GEORGE'S DAY

I have finished Ds' room :j

Just mine to go now. :( I'm hoping to do it next Tuesday. The weekend isn't going to work as I will have Fingers Saturday night, and he sleeps in my room.

I finally feel I am getting there. Well, until I decide to start again. :rotfl:

    Belated birthday wishes Quidsy.

Posting and running I'm afraid. Have read posts but not had much time to comment except to say - OMO keep those quotes coming they always make me smile.

Trying to get head around SW - might be easier once I start to see the numbers coming down on scales. Using cross stitch on an evening as a distraction technique - some may find it difficult at multi-tasking (eating and stitching) but I am a woman and we are always brilliant at multi-tasking aren't we? :D

I picked up double and single quilts the other day Chrissy - haven't opened them but the makes a good one so should be great for winter. Enjoy Cardiff.

Apparently I have hit a certain age and been invited for bowel screening (sorry I know its early for this topic). Not the sending a sample in the post type - this one is going to hospital and they use a camera  Don't know what to do. DH said it is no different to going for smear or mammogram. I know what he means but it isn't him going. :o

    Have a good day everyone

    Good Morning.

Not due into work until 11, so I have a couple of hours free this morning. :D

I have already revamped the downstairs loo. New picture, wall mounted rack, new baskets and bin, and a drawer unit.
When I say 'new' I mean moved from another room. The picture is new, which is what started the whole thing.
Dd picked it for her room in Ikea then changed her mind. But her loss is my gain.
The other things I have used are from my room. Once I get the rails up I would have had no where to display them.

It is completely different from the rest of the house. Old wood, jute and rusty looking metals.

Hope everyone has a good day. I must now walk Mia.
  • Just received a reminder to say that I hadn't replied to the invitation for screening - as if I needed a reminder

First one is shelving unit as it was, then others are now i have painted it, the cupboards at the bottom are still waiting for me to paint the doors, so they look scruffy at the moment :) sorry you got two the same, and they are at angles i can never find how to straighten them on photobucket x
