    Hello all!

Sorry have been MIA for a while! Have been having some fertility appointments at my local hospital and now on some medication to help my polycystic ovaries, we are also looking to move house so all that has taken over!

Happy Easter all, hope you have a great weekend and don't eat too much choccie! I'm wishing the months away til Christmas already!xxxx

    Hi

Just wanted to say Happy Easter to everyone.

Been MIA for several months, but Easter is one of those markers in the year where I think 'wow the year is rolling by it will soon been Christmas'.

Will have a lot of catch up reading to do but will enjoy doing that whilst i munch on chocolate. My little son today told me today Easter is like Christmas, so I asked him why and he said you have to be good for the Easter Bunny to visit (bless he's just turned 4), think his sister had been talking to him!

Morning everyone. Hope you are all enjoying the Easter break.

Feeling a bit chewed up this morning as I have made the decision to join SW tonight (new class starting less than 3 mins walk away). Got very very brave this morning and stepped onto our scales :eek::eek: and then I thought omg I will probably be a stone or more heavier on their scales :o Really having to do something as all this extra weight is really impacting on my life. :o

We seem as though we have more choccie than ever in the house inc those Lindt big red choccie balls, DS brought me home a Flake egg last night. We have some posh crisps - usually if I buy any crisps they are just the basic ones.

Oh well, will let you know if I actually make it to the class.

    Take care everyone

I'd love to be able to joining SW, but I have no will power and no confidence in myself to do it. Plus, too much hassle cooking one meal for me, and a different one for the rest of the family.

That's my excuse and I'm sticking to it lol

I went to sw but I am also diabetic so really shouldn't have chocolate. Too many clashes - sw unlimited eggs, diabetic cookbook try for 3 a week maximum, sw unlimited fruit, diabetic diet no more than 3 pieces a day, tiny amount of fruit juice (counts as one of the 3 and those lovely yoghurts - my favourite is mandarin (made with juice so one of 3 a day). Even the diabetic books contradict each other. Still going to free exercise class but now following bhf healthy plate + diabetic diet.

Good luck - some people had amazing results but for me (tried it twice for 12 + weeks) it was always a slow struggle. Current diet makes me feel more balanced - lost 3st 12lb since December 2012. Went back to sw when initial loss slowed down but back to doing my own thing + increasing activity levels.
My mission in life is not only to survive, but to thrive and to do so with some Passion, some Compassion, some Humour and some Style.
