Morning everyone,princesskitty29 wrote: »Hi all, i'm hoping that most of you remember me from the threads from the last two years - i've been AWOL for quite a while!
I've been quite poorly the last few months so haven't been up to much. The wonderful news is i'm expecting a baby in August which we are thrilled about, but unfortunately i've been really sick since before Christmas and lost loads of weight and had to go on medication.
I am slowly starting to feel more normal during the daytime but unfortunately still plagued with nausea and can't do a lot of things. I am back at work after being signed off for a while which is a great distraction and gets me out of the house! Anyway I know how lucky and blessed I am and it's just something I have to go through to get the end result.
Unfortunately Christmas completely passed me by last year, we stayed at my parents-in-law and whilst they were in the dining room tucking away their Christmas dinner I was sat in the living room nibbling on some crusty bread!
Anyway I hope you are all well, I am hoping to join in more now but i'm not sure i'll be able to catch up from the beginning! xx
PRINCESSKITTY hi of course we remember you, so sorry you have been feeling so rough but massive CONGRATULATIONS on your lovely news, just think how special next christmas will be with a little onelovely to hear from you x
Own_My_Own wrote: »Hello princesskitty. Of course we remember you. Congratulations :j Sorry your've been unwell. Just pop in when ever you feel well enough.
I'm bored at work, and have a spare 10 minutes, so am on here.
Am going to buy a new print for the downstairs loo after work. It's going in there because I have nowhere else to put it, but I love it, so must buy it.
Ds may want it in his room when he sees it.

I hope you manage your challenges for today Freespirit, they sound good!
msgigglewick remember to give yourself a bit of time too!
For the first year in years I have not even made a start on this Christmas yet. I very much missed picking up bits and bobs in the sales just after Christmas but unfortunately this was when I was at my worst. I did manage to get my Christmas spreadsheet in order though, now I just have to think of things to get people. x0 -

Evening everyone,
HOLD THE FRONT PAGE :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:I HAVE ONLY GONE AND STARTED DECORATING MY LR :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:I HAVE EVEN OPENED THE PAINT  haha, only been trying to start it since the beginning of january (oh who am i kidding trying isnt really the right word) i think i have been waiting for someone to wave a magic wand and say ok its all done! I have pulled all the rawlplugs, nails out of wall and holes in ceiling (from when i used to have all sorts of christmas things hanging from ceiling) have been filled and started painting ceiling but really disappointed with the paint, trying to be mse about it, it is dire, really runny, i could have cried, so tomorrow i am just going to splatter it on and clean up afterwardsso target for tomorrow is ice and decorate DD1s cake and paint ceiling and coving

DH is home!!!!!!!
I think he is having bad side effects from stress (trouble breathing and very tight chest, same as mine) so I'm trying to be super supportive and tell him we've got it all under control and there is nothing to stress about.
I'm about to start the mammoth cleaning task as it's so dire it's really depressing meI hope to get it all done so that tomorrow I can just be lazy and enjoy DHs company

YAAAAAAAAy Feisty and Mr Feisty, go you, hope the stress symptoms ease and go away. Do you find cleaning therapeutic? I don't, but have a friend who does! (handy when she needs therapy, as chez invis seems to have a double order of dust delivered).
Freespirit, well done on opening the paint, a challenge in itself hope the paint isn't as bad as you fear.
Mandco hang in there, boots on the way.
Going to hibernate in the greenhouse today as seedlings are ready
to move on. (odd, MSE wont let me say 'pr*ck out' seedlings, I wonder why that is? ).
Have a lovely day, whatever the weather tries. xxxxx0 -

peppapig - thanks
have done my first sweet tree too for my brothers GF's birthday which cost me only £5.00 for everything and she will be over the moon as loves sweets! Good luck searching for new mum hamper, seen some lovely one's when I was looking through the idea board.
Not Christmas related but for my friends hen party I have done 'hen party recovery bags' for everyone going - TWENTY ONE - once I found this our slightly wished I hadn't offered but was before I became more of a MS, but have done all the bags for £40.00 and they have quite a selection so pretty chuffed.:j
omo - all your picture/quotes that you post daily do make me smileChristmas is the most magical time of the year :santa2:
