    thank you.

im going to go and pick my DS1s brains now hes home from work id printed off a pencil skirt pattern from the sewing bee site and luckily put the paper waist band round my middle before laying it on the fabric i couldnt get the ends to touch. so quickly measured the test square the pattern has come out too small must say the magazine were brilliant i got a reply to my email within minutes of sending them one. problem is my puter is not printing it as is but resizing it so i need some one with more tech knowledge than me to tell me how to print it full size. (It is not hard to have more tech knowledge than me) lady at mag has kindly offered to print the pattern and post it me if i cant get someone to alter my printer settings. so round of applause to sew home and style magazine:T
trouble is if DS sorts it out tonight there is a danger the sewing cupboard will all be pulled out again:o

Thanks for your comments lovely people!

OMO - as always the quotes are great!

I took my 11 month old Goddaughter to the park with my close friend (her mum) she loved walking about and seemed fascinated with the swings lol!

I am now doing more online fundraising! Not looking forward to increasing the dosage of these meds tonight! Hoping the sun shines again tomorrow so maybe I can walk the dog even just round the block :)

My moan today is that the virgin that got installed in my bedroom uses such a thick HDMI wire that now it needs a new sort of bracket to be put back on the wall! Grumble grumble!

Springdreams - thanks for the heads-up on the stamps.

    OMO - love today's quote.

Had a lovely mooch around Home Bargains today and got lots of bits for the pamper hamper - all natural and neutral themed. Hoping to go to B&M tomorrow if there's time to add to the stash. Going to see DD1 and DGSs tomorrow afternoon so hopefully lots of cuddles on their way :D

I am so tired. I think Tuesday has caught up with me. Been to work today, then managed to get into town just as it was closing to getting worming tablets for Mia and a dog canvas for the lounge. Then off to Aldi to do the food shop.
Now in pjs waiting for the footy to start. Ds is there so I will be awoken in the early hours when he gets home.

I took the stag off its frame and hung the canvas in its place. It makes a small picture look a lot bigger. I just need to spray a bull dog and sort out 2 cushion covers and I'm done. :D ( until next time ) :rotfl:

Sorry haven't read back. Don't think my eyes will manage it.

Edit found 2 cushion covers in cupboard. :D so just need to spray dog.

Evening everyone, a very non productive day today, had the worst migraine i have had in a long time, was sick with it as well :( DD2 and DS have gone up to O2 in London tonight to see Miranda so god knows what time he will get back home, they absolutely love her and find her hilarious, i must admit i dont really find her programme that funny.

I am getting excited butterfly-ie pangs, as my friends thingy for the awards is tomorrow, we are going to do a rehearsal of the display table today, and make sure that the technology (a digital photo frame) works properly. (its v-e-r-y technical for me!).
The sunny weather has gone, and foggy rain is back, so it will be housework, not gardening that will be my time-waster today I suppose.
I went to a hospital appointment with fave cous yesterday, it was at the gypsy clinic, talk about disappointed, Don't know what we expected, but 'gypsy' stands for 'GP specialist clinic' ah, well, no crossing of palms with silver. Up and at em, xxx

Aww thankyou MRSINVISIBLE if you dont get on tomorrow, good luck to your friend and hope you enjoy the awards, love the name gypsy clinic it did make me laugh

I did my twice yearly grumble to virgin today, as a result TiVo box fitted, phone line installed (I won't use it but it reduces the costs!) and an £18 reduction to our monthly bill. How do they manage it? Still it's all good :) xxx

If anybody sees my guag please send it home :) night night sis xxx
    The secret of Christmas
It's not the things you do at Christmastime
But the Christmas things you do
    All year through

  • Hi all, i'm hoping that most of you remember me from the threads from the last two years - i've been AWOL for quite a while!

I've been quite poorly the last few months so haven't been up to much. The wonderful news is i'm expecting a baby in August which we are thrilled about, but unfortunately i've been really sick since before Christmas and lost loads of weight and had to go on medication.

I am slowly starting to feel more normal during the daytime but unfortunately still plagued with nausea and can't do a lot of things. I am back at work after being signed off for a while which is a great distraction and gets me out of the house! Anyway I know how lucky and blessed I am and it's just something I have to go through to get the end result.

Unfortunately Christmas completely passed me by last year, we stayed at my parents-in-law and whilst they were in the dining room tucking away their Christmas dinner I was sat in the living room nibbling on some crusty bread!

Anyway I hope you are all well, I am hoping to join in more now but i'm not sure i'll be able to catch up from the beginning! xx

Hello princesskitty :D. Of course we remember you. Congratulations :j Sorry your've been unwell. Just pop in when ever you feel well enough. :)

I'm bored at work, and have a spare 10 minutes, so am on here.
Am going to buy a new print for the downstairs loo after work. It's going in there because I have nowhere else to put it, but I love it, so must buy it.
Ds may want it in his room when he sees it.

I just think it's really different, and I've seen framed tube maps for twice this price,
