  • Evening everyone, sorry I haven't been around much but I have been trying to keep up with reading posts - usually stupid o'clock in the morning on ipod (find it difficult to type on small screen at that unearthly hour).

Belated birthday wishes to murie and our jj. Hope you both had a lovely time and were spoilt rotten.

Chrissy - hope the meds kick in soon and you are feeling better. My dsil suffers from vertigo and I know how awful it can be.

Hanley - wedding invitations are absolutely gorgeous. Hope the bride appreciates how much work you have put into them.

OMO - still loving the quotes :rotfl:

:hello::hello: Cooooeeeeeee Nanamia and Feisty - where are you?????

Hugs to everyone having tough times at the moment.

Promise to try and keep up with all your posts.

    Take care everyone.

Nanamia has been poorly. :( She is starting to feel a little better now, and is hoping to pop on here tomorrow.
But she was polite and shared her germs with her DH. :)

I am shattered. I was hoping to clear another cupboard this evening but have done nothing. Am sitting here watching the Spurs game, as DS is there and I will have to know my stuff when he gets home. :rotfl:

Yesterday I sorted all 4 drawers in the kitchen ( including the junk drawer  ) the medicine box and under the sink.
Everything under the sink is now in shoe boxes so I can pull them out and actually get to the stuff at the back. :)

DD is a lot happier. She has kept Law but dropped English and History this year and is doing Politics and Customer Services instead. Although there isn't a lot of this school year left, they seem to think with the free lessons she will have, she should have no trouble completing the course work.
She will start English and History again next year. This will mean she is in 6th form for 3 years but she will have more qualifications at the end of it. :)
  • OMO my son did the same as he didn't do very well in his 1st year exams. He changed 2 subjects and is so much happier now. He too will be doing 3 years in 6th Form. Hope your dd settles in, it's horrible when they're upset and not enjoying themselves.
