Went into town today and it was busy! Must be payday spending spree. Quite a few books in Sm!ths at sale prices. I lost the will to live tho, feet were hurting and too busy! I only have to get 1 birthday present for April, all others are already bought and squirreled away.
Got the fire and candles all lit for a snug night in.
My poor dog hurt her paw today so we're going to comfort each other with our sore feet!

Sorry I have been awol- have had the most severe attack of vertigo Ive had in 18 months followed by a water infection which developed into a kidney infection (which seem to run in this family!). Not been the best of 2 and half weeks (birthday wascancelled) so haven't had chance to read back so cant comment on everyone individually- sorry.
OMO- I did read your posts (cus its only a page or so back) and I feel for your DD. My Dd is in year 13 and I can honestly say she HATED year 12 with a passion. She spent the first 6 months wondering daily if she had done the right thing. She too is doing History and English (and 2 others) and found the jump from GCSE to AS level hard to handle. It got to the stage where she was so unhappy that she (and it was heartbreaking for us to see) was almost on the verge of dropping out. Luckily she has a fantastic personal tutor, and they talked through her options. She opted to stay on the course and managed to be a lot more upbeat about it, but I'm conscious that it could have easily have gone the other way and she could have (and was in danger of) going under. Im glad your DD got things sorted and is happier now- so what if she is going to do 3 years in 6th? As long as she is happy and regains her confidence the extra year will be worth it.

Big hugs to those that need it and when I feel up to it I will attempt to read back a few 100 pages cus you lot can REALLY chew the fat!

Evening everyone, i have not got any of my challenges done for 2 days as yesterday i had to do a lot of housework and today had to go food shopping, then DD1 wanted to go to asda so i popped over there and bought a cheap frying pan for pancakes next week, then had DD2 and BF over, bless him he got my gas fire in the LR to come on, so at least we have heating in there now, i cooked a St Davids day meal of Welsh Goats Cheese and Leek tart, Onion Cake and Bara Brith, by this time i just wanted to collapse on sofa and watch the voice, i now have a thumping headache, the kitchen is a mess and i am shattered. On the positive i completed a survey tonight that gave me enough points for another £10 payout and ordered more blu rays for DS for xmas so that is him finished for main presents now :D i have had to take pjs and cookery book from xmas eve hamper and stocking for DD2 and include them as main presents now, she will hopefully be in her new house so she wont be here xmas eve and i wont have to do her a stocking now. That is one curse of being so organised early peoples lives and plans change haha.

    Hello everyone!
nan hope you and DH feel lots better soon! Xx
    omo loving the quotes.
BEG my , that does sound busy , you'll be sleeping good tonight!
Hanley those invites are brilliant , well done.
peppa pig thank you , she is doing ok again :) we had a big talk and sorted some stuff she felt stressed about , she's also agreed to start walking everyday , her fitness is so bad (can't even do the block) and the car is sawn that and her agrophobia means she's got some serious cabin fever!
Not much new for me , I have started listing goals I want to achieve everyday. Also walked the dog today too! Off to write a disgruntled email to little woods!
hello and hugs to those I have missed , to those Mia come back!

Oh JJ im sending lots of hugs to your lovely mum, i very much feel her pain and can sympathise, over the years of suffering depression and anxiety, i have become almost a recluse (23 days of not going out of the house is my record) and where i havent been out and living in a bungalow so no stairs my fitness has just deteriorated to a shameful level, you dont realise how bad and how quick it goes, i have trouble walking short distances and panic, so i breathe really shallow which in turn makes me feel so embarrassed which in turn makes me want to stay at home :(:( so that is why DS is making me walk in my challenges but i will only go out in the dark so i dont make a complete t*t of myself with him or DD, i cant go out on my own yet, although i absolutely have to force myself out of that door i am doing it, it kills my back but i am managing the longer route to the first and then this month i think it gets even longer, and so on and so on each month getting further and further, i really hope your mum manages even just a tiny bit, and doesnt feel she is the only one like it because i am sure there are many more people who feel like this and it is not down to laziness, i used to walk miles until i moved here and locked myself away which makes me even more angry why i let myself get like this, but the anxiety gets the better of you and it is so hard to start again. xx

Nanamia, So very glad you are back well enough to post. Sorry that you were up at daftoclock, hope Mr Nana is ok too.
OMO, that quote is soooooooooo good, I'm gonna make it into a sign and hang it in the kitchen.
Freespirit you are so positive, and do so well, I think you deserve a medal.
JJ you too. (inserts medal smiley)
In fact, hugs and medals all round.
Spent yesterday in the greenhouse, it is sparkling clean, and the little plantlets are smiling. The baby seeds are under their blankie, waiting to spring up, (I hope) and all the overwintered veterans are in new compost, spreading their roots and sending up new shoots.
On the other hand, Mrs I is wrecked, and will be doing not much at all today. I may make some newspaper plantpots with the tool DGS got me for Christmas xx
