  • Poor you, Nanamia, I have been thinking about you and sending 'happy' vibes through the ether.
Chrissy glad your GP is sorting you out quickly, vertigo is pants.
OMO I love this one, can I provide a list for the next bridge? and if you want to do another under-the-sink marathon, mine's free.
Invis household is lurching from chaos to crisis (no change there, then.) I need a posh frock, no, I mean a 'really' posh frock for my friends 'new business woman of the year (our area) ' nomination and awards dinner. She has asked me along as her special guest, and I need to look the part.
Grandma sister is bringing her daughter to visit me so I can help her fill in her PIP forms, (her daughter has mobility issues and asbergers ) but the new rules are so complex!
Neighbours daughter has told me a secret, I've asked her to tell her mum, she won't, I'm pig in the middle, but a confidence is a confidence.
On the plus side, the sun (big yellow ball up in the sky) is shining and I can see a red squirrel bobbing about, so I need coffee and calories.

    Hi all

Everything is getting back to normal here following the roof episode. When it blew off a lot of stuff obviously got blown out and is really strange as when walking pooch keep finding odd bits of paperish things, found some of my wrapping paper - obviously ruined but a bit surreal!

Am getting ready for Easter but stocking up on little mini bunnies and such like for a great Easter trail - really hoping the weather is kind as had to do it indoors last year and not quite the same as searching in garden.

Sorry to hear your not well Nana, hope your getting better and feeling stronger xxx

Have started doing more surveys as well, this time last year I had a good £40 from them, but really haven't had the energy this year, am going to try harder as the vouchers are really useful for the Argos 342 toys.

Hope everyone is well and surviving this wet, miserable winter.

Take Care and I will try and catch up properly from now on. x

OMO my son did the same as he didn't do very well in his 1st year exams. He changed 2 subjects and is so much happier now. He too will be doing 3 years in 6th Form. Hope your dd settles in, it's horrible when they're upset and not enjoying themselves.
My Daughter did 3 years in Sixth Form because of dropping a subject at the end of third year that she subsequently needed for her chosen career.

Well DD went in today at 9 even though her first lesson wasn't until 12.30, so she must be feeling happier. :)

Freespirit I was having a look at the pinners I follow on Pinterest and came across you. Your Organization Board is inspiring :D (one pin does not make a board :rotfl: :rotfl: )

It has been raining here all day again. It is so depressing. I have got in from work and can't be bothered to do anything. :(
When it's sunny I do loads when I get home.

Am off to look at quotes. Be back soon :)

I bought three bags of Easter/Spring chocolate coins last week and three of the Easter bunnies from Aldi. Have got one bag of coins left. No more early chocolate buying for me :o

Hanley - the invites are lovely, no wonder they took so much effort. She's a lucky bride.

Nana - hope you and DH are soon feeling much better.

Mrs Invisible - huge well done to your friend for being nominated. Hope you find a fab frock and have a great night.

Chrissy - glad the doc was able to stock you up. You've def been through it lately.

JJ - hope your Mum is able to stamp all over her depression and that you can both be strong for each other.

Still germs lurking here so not much going on. Lots of projects started and not much finished!
Didn't get to see DGS2 on Wednesday as I still wasn't well so definitely noticing a lack of cuddles. Fortunately am going to my 'adopted' DGDs 4th birthday on Sunday (my best friend died 6 years ago and never got to see her DGD so I stand in as Nanny2) and will see DGD1 and both DGSs there as well so I'm going to make the most of it. Have been advised to take ear plugs - it's going to be rowdy!
It's the most wonderful timeof the year :
