I was wondering if anyone has some good ideas for "wrapping" concert and theatre tickets. Its my daughters birthday in a few weeks and Ive bought her tickets for Ed Sheeran and Theatre tickets to see Wicked I can't come up with any good ideas to wrap them, I dont want to put them in a card or envelope as her other presents are also very small (a charm bracelet and some ds games)

    Loooove ruths hat idea! !!
We always do box inside a box thing. ..
Maybe ed sheeran pop em inside one of his cd cases? Then put that in a box in a box? Haha pass the parcel addict 0:)
I love ed sheeran wanted to get tickets for little sis so I could go lol x
I hope you know your capable, & brave, & significant.

Thanks for all your lovely comments guys :o your all so lovely and supportive.
Today I managed about 7 minutes downstairs. The pain was too much at one point I was laying face down not he bed with a freezing flannel on my head contemplating weather or not to cave my head into the radiator! Thankfully after it peaked it eased.
It's so hard not to give in and go to the hospital but I don't want a repeat two weeks of nothing getting done! I'm on day 7 of bad pain so surely it can ease soon?!
    Anyway
freespirit rudimental were amazing live we were right at the front no one in front of us was brilliant!
nan mums ok thanks she's so supportive as always!
Going to find a film to watch on iPad if head can cope! The first hour after painkillers is most productive xx

Had a lovely day with my Mum, tbh the Constable Exhibition was a little disappointing. I was expecting it to be bigger but it was all local paintings he had done so we went to find one of the mills after. Nice to see them in a non crowded room tho. Had the obligatory tea and cakes but when we went to the gift shop it had closed at 3.30! Their loss and I probably saved some pennies!
Stayed and had dinner with Mum and Dad then showed them both FaceTime and Skype.......Heaven help me!!
Lazy day today, housework, dog walking and may even pick up some of my quilting.

BETSIE glad you had a lovely day
Morning, I think the gods must have had beans for supper, the wind outside here is horrific. Wouldn't dare put washing out.
JJ oh, my dear, you are suffering, and still so brave. I hope it passes and you get some relief. Disappointed, but not surprised that the faculties are blaming each other, its surprising that they haven't found some poor nurse to blame, that is usually their excuse!
Freespirit, you have inspired me, I have a tray of earlies ready to plant, so I will brave the wind. (ground is so wet they will have to go into a patio bag.)
Yesterday was lovely, Fave cous took me out, went to the nearest outlet village and we had a super poke-about-a-lot, buy-a-bit- time.
Free coffee there due to loyalty cards, and free coffee on the way home thanks to D*bies garden centre. DS2 visited in the evening to give me his £5 morris*ns miles voucher, then HM soup and a single malt to round the day off. I am a very lucky mrs Invis.
Today will be skype and DGS coming, so I best get up and dressed.

MRSINVISIBLE i havent managed to plant them yet the weather is atrocious again :( glad you had a lovely day out with your cousin

PINKSTEPS oh i was thinking of you and Teddy this morning, i saw a picture of a dog just like him, but not as gorgeous :) sorry life is getting you down atm and news about DS ot isnt good! Hope he isnt too down about it all. Sending you lots of hugs, glad our OMO has been there for you x

CHRISSY i assume the storm is all over as today has been so windy and horrible

NIC oh no not another one of our lovelies who life is getting them down :( hope you feel more cheery soon, sending you lots of hugs too x

HOLLIEINBLOOM ooh you sound very organised for xmas, well done you, love that DD loves football at 5 :)

OMO you arent boring at all my lovely, i would rather ask for something like that than get something that will just sit there and you dont really like it :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

REDBOOTIES sorry i have no imagination, the best i can come up with is in a nice box with tissue paper :o RUTH has some great suggestions i see

Clue one could be found hidden with clue leading to number to wrote on orange paper (he has ginger hair) clue three could be a empty beer bottle with a tag saying "drunk again?" (One of. Eds most popular songs) clue 4 could be a small Lego made square with a tag saying look inside then at dah the ticket! ( Lego house is always a well known Ed song :) sounds very cheesy lol x

    Good Morning All
Not much to report this week.
CCTV was installed on Saturday (the police officer who came last weekend said the police would install covert cameras but a PCSO came on Wednesday to tell me they hadn't got any!). Lots of dust in the cupboard where the Christmas presents are stored and I am going to have another shelf put up in there for the CCTV power supply and recorder so I'm considering wrapping them when I take them out to dust.
It sounds very wet and windy outside this morning - I've just talked myself out of walking to work! Roll on Spring!
Hope your head settles soon JJ - have you asked for a referral to another consultant again?
Well, I'd better drag myself out of bed and get ready to face the world!
    Hugs to all
    Samx

Got woken up too early from the noisy little brat upstairs running around and screaming. Tried for ages to get back to sleep, but now given up and gone to have a cuppa in the garden. Saturday was nice weather & today looks like it's gonna be ok, but yesterday was horrible. So gloomy and windy here. Blossom has come out to join me and is happily hunting bugs or something. :) At least it's fairly quiet out here now.

Great wrapping ideas for Ed Sheeran tickets. Hubby does clues for my presents sometimes and it's fun trying to guess what it is.

Oh JJ, I wish you weren't in so much pain. Sending hugs to you and anyone else who could do with them today.

  • Morning, another new week to play with, hugs to everyone, and lots of flowers.
Today is bills day, need to find out how much the month has cost, and arrange payment. (might have to sell a child or an organ or two).
Nev the shred came by yesterday to check that the greenhouse was surviving the winds. He thinks he knows someone who wants my bro and SIL s suite, so that's a good one, as he will deliver it to them too, win, win.
OMO it isn't boring to want something practical and useful, but it does probably mean that you are in danger of being a proper 'grown-up'.
Right, off to look at the bank figures, mrsI takes a deep breath, and...........
  • omo im with you on the better to get something you want/will find useful. thats not boring its MSE and practical
