  • Nanamia - did manage to sort a couple of items of clothing with DS (:shhh: don't tell him I 'sorted' a few more) and the cs were delighted with another drop off from us this morning. Mum said we must be keeping the place going. Fingers crossed all goes well with the plans. Hoping to make headboard for DS this week with DH and then just a couple of pics need to go up. Oh we are changing his vertical blinds as they are so see through and have ordered new blackout latts this morning. Hopefully that will be the end of it then. Love your quote/pic xx

Just passed your blog details on to DD who has a friend who is "struggling" at the moment, DD is waiting for the right moment to share it with her :) (sort of defeats the object- " let's wait for the RIGHT moment to offer CPR !!!) but baby steps xxx
3fortheholiday that did make me smile! I'm glad it's not just me :) xxx
Mandco thank you DGD2 is well and truly on the mend. DH declared us "DGD2 free zone" over the weekend, too late tho she'd already shared her germs with us :( I've been in bed or on the sofa for days now- had enough. Course being asthmatic I have a wonderful cough too. Preschool glittering sounded such fun, you will be finding it for months xxx
b_e_g hope you managed to pin DS down yesterday :) Photographs have been taken, templates drawn and the email sent, we await a reply xxx
Freespirit and Ruth I have About Time to watch, Oooh I'm looking forward to it now. Never seem to have time to watch a film, DH watches some carp on tv! It's no wonder my favourite films are ones I've watched with the DGDs or DC. Off the top of my head with very little thought

See look I'm rubbish "Long Walk to Freedom" although not easy to watch, is a must see xxx
Fluffysox aaaaw your DS what a cutie he is. I love the comment from your priest, that's a mission statement I'd like too :) xxx

Mrs M coffee with one (sweetener) please :) I just love the sound of your weekend, spent with the people you love. Treasure them (I know you do) I've had a Mrs M Moment this morning! will pop a picture on shortly. Enjoy half term xxx
Picnmix aww my poor lovely. Up here in Manchester we can only see the devastation on tv, but my heart goes out to you my lovely. Sending lots of love and ppppsssh I've enough cards and wrap to share :) It's your treasures that would have been along side them I can't help with. Except to say the memories of them are in your heart and nobody can spoil them xxx

Will make a note of the film thank you Mrs M I missed the last series of Luther (was in Oz) I've been keeping my eye on it on amazon. It has gone down to £7 just waiting to see if it'll drop a bit more. So if anybody sees it repeated I'd be very grateful. Idris Elba was so good in the Mandela film. Tom Hanks too, love him. Still got Captain Philips to watch. Need to stop DH watch carp! xxx

    Hello, I'm still here ( just) .

Am having some quiet time. Been on Pinterest getting the spring clean motivation. If I come on here I will never get anything done.

Have sorted my room and am now on the bathroom. I had hoped to do the bathroom after work this evening, but the stupid corner pole thing I bought has been a nightmare to build. I am having a quick coffee before I go back up there and start again.
It's needs to be done tonight as I have taken everything out of there. It doesn't have a shower curtain or toilet seat at the moment. :rotfl:
  • Evening everyone, well HA plumber called round to boiler tonight, said they wont stock parts for it because its not one of theirs, he will talk to them and see if they might just put a new boiler in and then they can service it yearly so fingers crossed, i cant see it happening myself but will wait and see, he said to just keep doing what we are doing and keep repressurizing it but i am sick to death of being cold and having no hot water, and each time we do it it stays on shorter and shorter.
he was in the film we watched friday night, he was beyonce's husband and some temp that starts working at his place decided she fancied him and became a bit of an obsessive bunny boiler type, it was a really good film, cant believe its sat on our shelf unwatched for about 2 years. it was called obsessed or obsession cant check cos DD3 has borrowed it.

Oh thankyou for that MRSMONEYPENNY i will look out for that :)
