    Xmas Saver!
    :bdaycake: HAPPY BIRTHDAY B_E_G :bdaycake:

I have lost a day on the tree :o
Apart from taking Mia out and putting 2 wash loads on it's all I've done all day.
I did mend the shower as the hose had split, but I got the part while walking the dog and it took 5 minutes to fit when I got back.

I have changed my friend status with BFF on FB. I no longer get notifications when she posts. I got another one today saying what a lovely day she had out with the girls. So I changed it. We are still friends, but I just won't get emails every time she goes on there. I don't go on there a great deal anyway so I'll miss most of them. I only really use it to keep in touch with family I have in Texas etc.

There are posts I wanted to reply to but I need to get to bed so will have to do it tomorrow.

Hope everyone had a good weekend and got more done than me :D

You put me to shame on the food freespirit! I made...a quick stop off at M & S yesterday to pick up their Chinese meal deal! :rotfl:
I was full of good intentions to cook but I was just shattered the last two nights, I couldn't have faced the prep and cooking! Just means we'll have a distinctly Chinese theme to the meal plan this week as I try and use up the ingredients I'd bought last weekend!

Thanks for thinking of me Caitlyn :) yes I'm doing very well - though had to give him the Thomas annual I bought as he found it, oh dear. Luckily it only cost 99p.

How is everyone? January flew by so fast for us. We were plagued by illness and had a few appointments. What free time we did have was spent with family or at playgroup :)
My son was officially diagnosed with hypermobility and hypotonia which is a step in the right direction. There's not a lot they can do, just some exercises to strengthen his core. He failed his hearing test again though thankfully the glue ear wasn't there this time. We go back in April time for another test (and then probably hearing aids).
He has an appointment with his plastic surgeon on Wednesday. It's the follow up appointment from his operation back in October. I don't think it'll be good news. His thumb is still quite loose in the joint but he can't bend it. I don't think they will operate again, it was a risky job as it was :(
His behaviour is getting worse, his delays are getting more pronounced (he's under 1st centile for development, the worst possible scale he can be put on). It's very stressful. He's still not sleeping. I honestly wonder if there's a light at the end of the tunnel some days.

SEQUEENA i hope you have friends and family near you for support, please feel free to come on here and rant any time it gets too much, no one will think any less of you for it, CAITLYN and PIGPEN have put into beautiful words what we all want to say, sending you hugs my lovely
JJ so glad you are home, sorry you have had such a rough time of it, sending you lots of hugs and i wish you so much luck in your OU course
BETASAM oh what horrible and disgusting people, what is wrong with some people, that they need to hurt other people or vandalise/burgle their property??
DEBNDOT it seems to go faster every year doesnt it? I decluttered an old tassimo machine and a juicer today, why i thought of them in bed last night i will never know, but the tassimo was down my craftshop (i use the one in my kitchen) and the juicer just gets blooming dusted only used twice and had about 6 years :)
MRSINVISIBLE oh your friends poor neighbour, she must be devastated, i hope she has support. Hope you had a lovely lunch out today
PIXIEFAIRYDUST hello and welcome to our thread

Thank you for the support everyone. I have a few family members for support - neither mine or my OHs parents are in the picture. He is a wonderful child who has so much love to give but I do often wonder how things will ever get better. He will be 3 this August. He's meant to start nursery in September. I'm not even sure that will be possible. It's very hard at the moment. He's getting left in the dust developmentally by his younger cousin (9 months younger than him) and even though I try my hardest not to compare it hits home really hard when I see her do things that Thomas cannot do.

Anyway, happy birthday blueeyedgirl I hope you had a lovely day :)

I hope everyone has a lovely week, any plans?

sequeena , my experience working in nurseries is they will do a period progress report which will tell them what age T is working out! Don't let that alarm you as it's different for every child! Going on that they will probably map out targets and activities , getting you involved so you can do them at home too!

T might have had a bit of a rocky road so far but I believe with the love and encouragement from you and your other half he will excel! don't even look at "things he should be doing" or comparing him as I know that is hard and is just human for everyone to do but look at things you never thought he could do and he has achieved! I mean it , I am a qualified nursery worker with special needs training and my inbox is open to you all day every day! Hugs sweet x

Thanks for all the welcome backs guys! You lovely bunch!

Thanks JJ x T currently has a developmental age of 15 months (he's almost 30 months). I don't think we'll send him come September but we have put in an inquiry with a SEN unit just in case x
