Freespirit OMG you aren't actually having to post your bucket list online are you? Goodness me. Although started that book Ruth recommended "Fireside Dreams" and the main character found her bucket list and she'd written "things to do before she was 30". So maybe I was being a little harsh on DS :) haha.
Did the scales smile at you this morning, mine were kind 3lb off. Blooming good job too as I don't know where last weeks gain came from! Are you following a plan? Have you looked at SW ? Cos you aren't ever hungry on that one. I don't go just loosely do it myself. Let me know if you fancy trying it xxx

I think the site he is on about you dont put your name just what you want to do, but i think he really wanted me to look at ideas of what people have put, DD1, DS and me have all got one, mine and DD1s are in notebooks, DD1 wants to see all the wonders of the world before she is 30, she has done some like Macchu Piccu, Taj Mahal, etc i think it will be Chichen Itza (sp) in Mexico this year :) mine arent quite so exotic, :rotfl:this year i would like to do the tour of Buckingham Palace, stay a night in a really posh hotel, they are my aims, told you they arent quite so exotic. I think it was more my scales laughing at me, i was horrified, but hopefully this time i will just plod along at it, atm i am just cutting down, have bought the books on the 5:2 diet (needless to say i havent looked at them yet) but might go back to SW diet (not the classes) as i found that easy to stick to last time and as you say i wasnt hungry, so any advice i need i will be coming to you, not just SW but just keeping the motivation going :)
freespirit66 i hope your back IS feeling better soon and im sure nic does as well;):rotfl: im terrible for that. on a different forum years ago someone had posted that someone had accused them of entering comps to win anything and everything regardless of whether they genuinely wanted the prize, shed just won a trip to gracelands to mark an anniversary of one of Elvis' birthdays i thought i sent her a lovely PM supporting her till i got a reply saying well i know youre a fan of his but im sorry you feel that way. i reread my pm and id put we all know your the kind i of person who wants to win everything:eek: id missed the word NOT out:o
i really try and double read and spell check everything now. luckily she accepted my grovelling apology and she she thought it was a bit out of character for me.
she must have forgiven me cos i sent her a silk rose and she managed to get her DH to distract the guards at his grave and put the flower on for me and photo it, there were signs saying family flowers only others were supposed to be left in a different area.

Oh MRSMONEYPENNY that has made me giggle, you must have been horrified :) on a different note does it matter what competitions you go in for, i cant believe the person was accused of that, some people!! Wow though, what a prize, that is on my bucket list, to see Gracelands

11months and 4 days!! ... I will NEVER be sorted in time!!!
Need to order a couple of books for OH for V-day.. and a present for nursery Olivers birthday (4) and GS1 (5) and OH needs to sort his dads birthday this week.. they are visiting on Friday. and DS3 (15) on 4th March.. that should cover everything until June.
Would it be silly to buy a large pack of story books for random nursery birthdays??
Am I allowed to get huffety that OH's dad buys for him and the 3 girls and leaves me out? OH spends quite a lot on him and his partner individually and/or jointly .. I'm not upset just a bit huffy.
I need to buy a replacement car seat for Dot asap.. we can't even do school runs at the moment.

No PIGPEN it wouldnt be silly at all, its a fantastic idea to buy books to store, and yes i would have the flaming hump if i was left out of birthdays from them, its just rude!

CHRISSYG oh no! back to the drawing board for easter pressie then ;)
BBTHREE mmm it twas nice (only a tiny bit for me though) :( i finally deleted the number of someone who i thought was a very dear friend yesterday, i supported her through everything but i have had nothing in return the last couple of years
RUTHHONEY ooh you have just reminded me, i never put the cable car ride in san francisco on my list as done, must strike it off, thanks

It won't come as a surprise to any of you but I had a row with a woman on a cable car in San Francisco. :rotfl:

Ds was sitting down and a woman got on and practically sat on his lap.

I politely asked her to move as she was squashing him. She said
' I have come all the way from Texas to ride on one of these cars, put him on your lap. '
I replied ( in rather a load voice) 'We have come all the way from London England ! I have found everyone in your country to be very polite and kind, it's such a shame that a Texan has let the side down so badly and ruined our day. It is people like you that give Americans a bad name!'

It was 3 weeks after 9/9 and everyone over there thought English people were great. People on the car started making comments about her and she got off at the next stop. :rotfl:

I have not shampooed the carpet yet. I think it may have to wait until the morning. I am taking tomorrow off work to do ds' room with him. He got some new pictures for Christmas and they need to be put up.
It is so foggy and cold here I can't be bothered to do anything today.

    Happy Birthday BloomingTasty

Nanamia you don't need to spend £100 on Apple TV

You need one of these cables and an HDMI lead ( £5 at Argos)

    http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Dock-Connector-to-HDMI-HDTV-TV-Adapter-Cable-for-iPhone-4-4s-iPad-2-3-UK-/291050584198

If your iPad had the new connection you will also needs one of these

    http://www.play.com/Electronics/Electronics/4-/41069588/30-Pin-To-8-Pin-Lightning-Sync-Data-Adapter-For-iPhone-5-iPad-4-iPad-Mini-iPod-Touch-5th-Generation/Product.html?searchstring=ipad+lead&searchsource=0&searchtype=allproducts&urlrefer=search

    Total cost about £15.

You can't watch films in your I-tunes with these leads but all the app films work.
