i would follow the procedure, sending a letter (recorded) without delay, incase the refund promised by email doesn't arrive. if that were to happen, you would not have followed the procedure and would be too late.

I really really really hope you read this and took it onboard.
while you are saying they have promised me a refund in an email. That is totally different from them actually doing it, and the money appearing in your account.
As has been posted if you do not apply in writing-IN A LETTER- with in the timescale quoted, by the time you realise that they lied about sending you a refund, it would be too late for the letter to work.
I sometime wonder how dumb people really have to be. A perfect example of why finance should be taught in schools, so people understand what a scam is.
Let us wait for the guys money did not arrive in my account, and is it too late for a letter.
It will be.....why do you think they are saying it will take days etc.

Why on earth would anyone contact you for advice?? You are clearly unable to manage your finances or read information on websites or even find a simple address!. I would no more ask you for financial advice than I would fly to the moon.

BTW, did you get your compensation? :rotfl:
  • After following procedures and writing a letter i received my money back, i did give a follow up call to ensure my letter was received. John was helpful and money is now in my hands.

just so they would have a little fright into the potential loss of earnings they may have to pay out!!

I doubt they'd be at all frightened by the prospect of some crackpot suing them. You probably gave whoever read the email a good chuckle though.

Now you have your money back I suggest you really think about what site you enter you card details into, double check it and triple check it.
