been raining most of the night here,
hope the day clears up later & it's nicer for us all,

i'm off to opticians later for the usual check up
& think need new glasses! more money to pay out!
they don't come cheap nowdays :eek:

Good morning all.

Its been raining most of the night here as well firefly and quite miserable out. Good luck with the opticians, it is really expensive especially if you need varifocal as I do. Hope you manage to find some that you like. Do you go locally or to one of the big ones?

Up early as have to get GD off to school and try and get her to have breakfast before she goes.

Think it has dried up for the moment - been raining for about 24 hours non stop already though.

Hope you find some glasses you like FF. Think I could do with a new pair soon. I just go to Specsavers and they never seem to cost that much compared to years ago.

Good Luck getting your GD to eat breakfast Sylvia. My DD has been eating porridge for the last few weeks but says she is fed up of it now so goodness knows what she will have after today. She doesn't bother if she gets the chance.

Must try and get some washing dry today - still sitting in the machine I'm afraid! Taking DD to Dr tonight as she has been having bother breathing after PE etc and we think it could be asthma. We don't know anything about it so had better get her checked. She hasn't been to a Dr for about 10 years I think so I had better go with her. Haven't been myself for a long time but DH says it is still in the same place. Don't know most of the Drs names now either, think my official one only works occasionally now.
