Hi ,

Hope everyone is well.

I'm back home now - enjoyed our little break. Did a lot of walking and visited Beatrix Potter Museum again as well as Windermere and Elterwater so that is our last lake ticked off.
Had two wins today, Kylie Minogue perfume and a £15 iTunes so really pleased.

I've just been to bingo with sis on the free tickets I won and we won £100 between us

It was really frosty and icy here too this morning fire**fly! There was so much traffic on the roads I was late for hospital appointment! It looks like tomorrow will be same as its chilly here tonight again and gritters were out.

Sylvia, that must have been karma you giving your DD the tv and your DD offering to pay for your hol after her win :A When we got our 47" tv and looked around for a glass stand, they were a bit smaller but it didn't matter as the tv is on a bit of a stand too so you can't really see it overlapping. Ours is an oval shape one from currys which was quite cheap.
No further on kitchen unfortunately! DH has started knocking out French doors now so it's chilly in here tonight! The ones were replacing them with are smaller.

Has anyone had a spammy email from PayPal? It looked genuine saying ours had been hacked but when I checked from another link it was fine. Glad I never clicked on the link!

Well done on the bingo win wingo. Didn't have any frost in the Lakes or here. We are set for rain again I think.

I wish the snow would hurry up and come if it's meant to so we can get it out the way! Looking forward to some warmer weather now!
I was very brave today in school....there was a big spider near one of the kids feet, he wasn't phased by it but the teacher was scared! I calmly picked it up and put it out the window! If I was at home I would have run a mile!

Good Morning,

Will need to get the kitchen cleaned up this morning. Lots of dirty oven trays and plates just sitting. Couldn't be bothered when we got back yesterday and we had already eaten at a Table Table with a half price main meal voucher. They have a loyalty card now too.
Think DD must have fed most of her friends at one point over Sunday and Monday. I know I am soft not making her clean everything but we do feel a bit guilty leaving her so often. She didn't get up in time for breakfast and was nearly late for school yesterday too. I have been making her porridge the last few weeks.

Hope your fog isn't too bad FF.

Very brave with the spider wingo. I couldn't have done that.

Must get some comps done. Don't think there are many prizes on the Mag Dailies that I am that desperate to win now so quite pleased about that as it made comping a bit of a chore for a while!

great you got back ok & it wasn't to bad weather wise,

the fogs not as bad as thought it would be this morning,
still a bit but at least can see down into the garden,
jack frosts been hard at work again though :eek:

don't know where I got the expression from wingo
we've always said it from when we used to get thick fogs
years ago :eek:

Rain just started here after DD left for school.

Did anyone watch Corrie last night? It looked as if the acting was going to be really good but I'm afraid I switched it off. Haven't been enjoying this storyline, particularly as my first husband died of that cancer. Was nice to see "Roy" getting a chance to show his acting talent though.
