Oh all this talk of pancakes is making me fancy some too.

Nice to see you in the Inn LM & LO and welcome BCS happy comping.

Family gone home now, been a hectic day here but nice to see them before we go away on Thursday.

Only managed 3 of the comps so far firefly but as you say it only takes 1 and didnt like doing them when the family were here and of course they comandeered my iPad as well.

Off now as Vera has started and like to watch it.

Well that's the last Times entry done - thank you FF. Think I entered them all.
Haven't been out of the house all day as rain has never stopped. DH was only out to run DD to work and buy some more milk. Thought we were getting through so much milk because of workmen - turns out DD has been drinking milkshakes. Wish peeps would tell me when they start eating or drinking lots of something.
Had police at the door today wanting to speak to DD - got a shock when I saw them. Turns out 2 boys in a group she was hanging about in helped a drunk 14 year old home the other night and now one of them is getting the blame for supplying the booze. She is to be an "alibi" for him. She says drunk boy wasn't even in their company and one of the boys even missed his bus home helping out. No wonder you don't get many good Samaritans nowadays. Police coming back tomorrow but seems to have spoken to others.

Oh Sheils, that must have given you a scare. Good of your DD's friend to help though. She could do without this at the moment though with her exams and things.

Had to laugh at this rose! Must admit I think that would have done him more good instead of trying to blame others. He won't say where he got booze so mother insisting it must have been older ones. DD not in bother, she has just to stand up for the boys who helped. One of them is 18 so could be in real bother if not believed. He has quite a few peeps saying he was with them all night but real pain having police at door!

Thanks both - take more than that to scare DD. Just hope she doesn't see boy or police will be back up here! She has a real sense of what is right and has been known to have bullies in tears with her tongue if upsetting her friends.
