Thank you so much firefly for putting on the Inn. I have put it on my daily spread sheet for tomorrow. All I need to do now is get up in time for the 9 - 10 one. :rotfl::rotfl: Will probably be up as DD1 and tribe are coming for lunch tomorrow. Going to be a Shepherd as they all like that and it goes round further too.
Have been in the garden a good part of the day. Lawns cut and one of my long flower bed done and put some pansies in so a very productive day. Washing dried as well.
Just having an easy tea, something on toast as I am starving and can't wait for a big meal to cook.
Enjoy your evening everyone.BIG THANKS TO ALL WHO POST THE COMPETITIONS0 -
Sounds like you are having another busy weekend Sylvia. Keep expecting the rain to start here so keeping an eye on my washing and trying to get yesterdays ironed. DD is on study leave now so won't be any pressure for school stuff although she has Maths Int 2 on Tuesday. They made her sit Int 2 last year instead of Int 1 and she only scraped through so resitting it this year and expected to get an "A" so fingers crossed. She is working today and DS has gone out so just DH and I to cook for tonight.Mar Wins :- £2 GfK Media

Yeah Rose!!! Enjoy your new cooker!
It was a lovely bright and sunny morning here but clouded over at lunchtime and stayed that way! Typical bank holiday weather! DD is feeling a bit better, though she has nothing left inside to throw up or poop out! (sorry!) My parents aren't back yet with the other three but rang earlier to say they were having a good time. At least they will all sleep well after all the fresh air. My DD and I have watched Frozen and The Croods (both DVD wins!) so we have enjoyed our day too!
Enjoy your evening Shiels - just you and your DH! Enjoy your meal whether you cook in or take out!
Sounds like you have been a busy bee today Sylvia so enjoy a relaxing evening too! You deserve it!
FF, Thanks for the heads up re The Times comp - will do my best to enter when I can...fingers crossed someone from the Inn will win one!:TA big thanks to all who post and sprinkling lucky dust to all who enter :smileyhea0 -

I will Sylvia! Her class are a bit ahead as they sat some last year which was really too young and has been scrapped. It has meant they have some practice of exams now which does help a bit and they have got rid of some of the subjects they didn't like. (Chemistry in DDs case - she worked hard to pass that last year!)Wish we weren't getting work done at the same time but couldn't turn them away after waiting so long and DS1 coming home for stay on 3rd June too. She has big plans to celebrate her birthday too, but no more exams until 15th after Maths so bit of a breather.
Great you are having a take away again FF. I have got some mince simmering away. DH made some nice soup earlier - he loves my soup maker and we had that with lovely cheesy bread for lunch.Mar Wins :- £2 GfK Media

Glad you DD is feeling a bit better Bella. Your parents seem to be a great help to you. It must be hard work at times with 4 young kids on your own.Mar Wins :- £2 GfK Media
