some of them tick quite loud but there are some that you don't hear them ticking
I've got a chicken one that is really loud & drives DH up the wall:eek: so I don't use that one much

Good morning, its rained during the night so glad I managed the lawns yesterday. It seems to be drying up now so might get the other long bed sorted when SIL comes.

Love your pics this morning firefly. I was thinking of Alfie the other day as well firefly and have sent a nice pm to her and Sue just to check they are OK. (hope this was in order?)

I dont think I could cope with workmen in on a Sunday as well Sheils but I suppose the sooner its done the better. You will have a full house then Sheils which will be nice for you, no the food bills though, they will shoot through the roof

Glad you DD is feeling a bit better now Bella, its a shame she is not well with it being Bank holiday weekend. Big hugs for her.

Missed the 9 comp firefly/rosmac so will get my egg timer at the ready for the 11 one.

Workmen went away on Friday afternoon Sylvia and won't be back until 8.30am on Tuesday. They aren't keen on long hours or working too hard but "the devil you know" and all that!
Bills will be through the roof anyway as we are taking all the family out for DS's 18th next Sunday and DD to Ayr on Saturday for hers. Then another family reunion when DS1 comes at beginning of June! Got a shock when I checked bank account yesterday never mind after that.
