    Hi Sylvia,

I am sure you can buy those balls - I think they are called stress balls - mine is made of a kind of rubber that I can gently squeeze in one hand and I am so pleased as it really seems to work! Tells you about them on this site: http://www.livestrong.com/article/141645-what-are-benefits-stress-balls/

I am not sure whether my chi suffers from hayfever as she was only born last December so hasn't been through a Spring or Summer yet. With living right by the sea, the pollen levels are usually lower but I do suffer myself some years. Honey has been ok up to now though but I mostly walk her on the beach and not on the grassy areas. With her being tiny and so close to the ground, I can imagine she might suffer if I walk her on the long grass during the Summer when pollen counts are high!!
:TA big thanks to all who post and sprinkling lucky dust to all who enter :smileyhea

Well done to Fred & Bella on their wins. I never need to buy toiletries or make up either Bella.

    Didn't know dogs got hayfever.

Sun came out here at about 3pm so managed a bit of a walk and got away from the work. Have got a toilet (no cistern) and a shower bottom in place at the moment. O'h and a sink with taps in place lying on floor! Hope we don't waken up needing the toilet through the night as we would automatically go into ensuite! lol
DD thinks English exam went OK so fingers crossed. She has worked hard studying for it.

That sounds like a lot of inconvenience for you Sylvia when they start the work, but should be worth it in the end I hope.

Hope you enjoyed you chips FF! We had smoked salmon and tagliatelle. Started to make it before the workmen left and thought I wasn't going to get one to leave before dinner when he smelt the garlic frying!

Oh Sheils, hope you don't need the loo in the night. Is the downstairs one working OK?

What did you have with your chips firefly? Hope you enjoyed them.

Have had a really good comping day today. Need to keep up as going on holiday a week tomorrow.

I'm not quite sure if Jasper suffers from hay fever Sylvia, not noticed as yet. Son normally suffers really bad but he's been fine so far too. Well done on the book win Fred :j

Hard to believe we might get snow now after it being so nice! Really hope not, I've prepared my clothes for summer now! :p

I'm glad DD's exam seemed ok Sheils :) I dread DD's next year. Maybe by then she might have a diagnosis of suspected autism so might not need to go through it. I don't know why it's taking so long, I feel she is really struggling with school work.
Hope you get your building work sorted soon. There's nothing worse than having no water!

Well done on your win Bella :) That's brilliant that you haven't needed to buy toiletries :) I keep buying toothpaste and forget where I put it! :o DD got lots on prescription from the dentist too the other day plus mouthwash because of her Sjögren's syndrome. I wonder if I can use it! :p

How's the herbs coming along fire**fly? I thought of you last week when I bought some herbs then felt guilty for me being lazy enough and not growing them myself! :o I wish I was organised like you & Sylvia and creative but I'm so laid back and unorganised!

Great news on the oven Rose :) I wanted an electric but got gas in the end to save the hassle as electrician said it was too much work!

Well I was meant to get kitchen fitted Monday but we've been let down by plasterer and electrician. DH plasterered in the end and he has done a pretty good job (despite his messy ways) and as we've took floor up in kitchen we've discovered damp so that needs sorting out now. Kitchen company weren't too happy about delay but it's out of our hands and if we can't get it fitted by next week they can't do until June! (groan...when will it ever end!)

The fanimal Pepperami comp starts tomorrow and there's a 1000 a day to be won. I've still got the last two from previous comps but they're both different sayings! If you haven't seen it...just text FANIMAL to 66644 (snc) :)
Big thanks to all who contribute to the forums. Be lucky everyone and be safe!

Downstairs one is fine Sylvia - water was back on at lunchtime although has to go off tomorrow morning again but plumber says he will put it back on for DS at 9am. He had to get up at 8am to have one this morning and wasn't happy.:rotfl:
You will be looking forward to your holiday.

Such a shame you were let down by workmen wingo. great your DH managed the plastering though. Hope you get things done soon. Not sure when ours are putting in new boiler. Joiner putting Respatex Panels in shower instead of tiles so looking forward to that and then he has a velox window and a new window in downstairs bathroom to replace.
