just saved myself a trip to the bank went to lidles which is just along the road and bought milk and crusty bread just out the oven and got cash back at till it is blowing a gale out there and it is freezing

Good morning. some lovely 1st May pics this morning. Can't believe its May already. Only a week until our hols now. Its been raining all night by the look of it and still raining now. SIL said he would cut my lawns on Sunday so am hoping it will clear up.

Well done on getting your herbs growing firefly. Haven't planted any new ones indoors yet as we knew we would be away a lot so will wait until we get back now. The ones in the garden are doing well though.

Glad you DD's exam went well yesterday Sheils and hope the work men get along quickly for you.

I don't think I could cope with your situation either Wingo. I hope you sort it soon. Not surprised you havent grown your herbs yourself with all you have to do.

I don't expect you will get your walk along the beach today Bella what with all the rain. Well done on your wins.

Sorry you didn't win on the fanimal comp firefly, maybe next time. Are you doing it every day. Doesn't that run your mobile bill up? Guess I will have a bigger bill next time as I have been texting DD in GC while she was away and will be texting back home when we go next week as well. Lovely pic you have just put on by the way, thanks.

Looking forward to Fred's DD2 coming up from down South next week. They are going to house sit for us and do some nice trips while they are here. We will only see he briefly before and after but it will be nice. I always leave my house spotless when we go away anyway so no cleaning up after we have gone she can just relax.

lol ff never mind there is always tomorrow. I have just been out and brought in all our bins before they are blown on to the road. Last time they were blown on to road it caused an accident and police gave us a telling off. Everyone here works during the day so it cant be helped so I have said to them if I am at home I will bring them in as soon as they are emptied when the weather is bad. It is a bit of a haul there are 17 of them

That's good of you taking in 17 bins rose. We have been known to be in charge of neighbours bins but only one or two at a time.

Have you started to organise your packing yet Sylvia? I usually have lots of lists when we go abroad.
