Raining here so stuck in with the sound of banging and breaking tiles.
Hate having work done so leave things to the last possible time I'm afraid. Anyway we have water again for the moment - hate toilet not getting flushed! Glad we have 2 toilets .

I know how you feel Shiels! I had an ensuite built last year and the amount of dust generated was awful! It seemed to go right though the house! I hate workmen in full stop! My brother was having a conservatory built over the Easter school holidays and he took his wife and kids over to my parents holiday home on the Isle of Arran, while they worked. My parents live just round the corner from him so they went round each morning to let the builders in. The builders were friends of his though so he could trust them. So he came home to job complete! Just the dust and rubble to clear up though!

Cannot believe there is snow forecast for the hills over the next few days! It is almost May! making-snow-angel-smiley-emoticon.gif

Shiels fill up some buckets or your bath with water for your toilet that way you can flush it. Bella just heard that about snow on news. Am going out at 1 o'clock so will bring back gossip for you if I find out what happened last night.

The workers are friends Bella which is good. We have left them to work away in the past but kids are here so won't leave them to sort things out. Only problem with friends being the workers they tend to leave you until last and don't give you much warning they are coming. It was lovely when we came home to the downstairs bathroom all finished a few years ago.
Think that will be the worst of the water being off rose. It is all disconnected upstairs now.
