Just had a WEM for Dorset Cereal from last months comp. You had a WEM at start of month didn't you FF? They must be taking their time informing the winners. Love their cereal. :jMar Wins :- £2 GfK Media

lol, had some excitement here
one of the neighbours burned their dinner & all the fire alarms were going off so we all had to go out & wait for the firemen to come
luckily enough it was just a bit of smoke damage,
some gorgeous firemen nowdaysplease be a responsible pet owner & spay/neuter your pets, too many strays & not enough homes for them sadly.0 -
Ha ha - glad everything was OK FF. We were in a hotel once when smoke alarm went off. Had to get kids out of bed in their PJs, we hadn't quite gone to bed. When we got outside the woman next to me was so excited about the firemen coming I wondered if she had set the alarm off!
It did feel a bit scary though when the alarm went off and the staff were shouting at us to get outside. It was a false alarm .

yep, luckily it was just a bit of smoke sheils
alarms here are very sensitive & the slightest bit of smoke or
steam starts them off,
felt a bit sorry for the neighbour though as they only
moved in a few weeks ago & they were very embarrassed
at setting them off
told them we've all done it here :rotfl:
I set them off not long after we'd moved in here when cooking a
pizza
didn't show my face for a few days after as felt daft
apparently it was a steak neighbour was cooking under the grill that started them off & heard one of the fireman say to them
'was it sirloin or rump because either way even the dog won't be eating it':rotfl:think foxy will be getting a nice bit of overcooked steak treat tonight

Our alarms used to be really sensitive too but the replacements don't seem to be. Think I preferred the old ones even if we kept setting them off!
Found a bargain deal for an overnight and parking at Newcastle Airport in Sept - booked a £25 night and parking will be £30 for the week. Will just need to walk across to airport from the hotel. Pleased with that. Flight isn't that early but does help you relax when you know you are at airport already. Like to be organised.Mar Wins :- £2 GfK Media
