That's great Sheils I always wanted to stay at airport whenever we went away but hubby preferred to drive on day we were going and would then moan about how tired he was!

Eesh....listen you lot drooling over some fit firemen! :drool: They would be out for me everyday fire**fly if I lived there as I'm always burning dinner! Takes me back to the days when I worked in factory and they would love coming in for their annual check to get all us women wolf whistling at them shouting 'get yer hose out'

Sounds like you had a good night last night Sylvia It's nice when you can relax and have a good laugh with the family. Glad DD enjoyed her hols.
My kids are back at school Sylvia, I've been to work in school. We've been on a trip to garden centre today. To say the kids are autistic and multi complex needs they are so well behaved more than most mainstream kids were when I worked in previous school. I just love my job! Pity I'm having to pack in my other casual job but timings not ideal for that one.

Sheils, just a thought....the parcel that you refused to pay postage for...was it a personalised razor maybe? My dad got his today! I sent for it months ago when the free offer was on.

Sounds like you have had fun firefly, firemen are rather dishy these days aren't they?

Well done on your win Sheils and looks like you got a good deal with your airport parking as well. We often stay over if we have to go from Manchester but we are too close to Newcastle to bother. We got £42 for 15 nights parking at the airport which we were pleased with. Only two weeks until we are going to Ibiza.

Haven't looked at any comps yet today so getting well behind now.

Your job sounds very rewarding. We sometimes see our GS when we go to Sainsbury's cafe. They bring a group of then in for a drink sometimes and they always seem so well behaved as you say.

It does make a difference staying at the airport wingo especially when you live quite a distance away.
Don't think it was the right shape for a razor. Thought other peeps on here would have got the packet without postage on it.

Newcastle is always more expensive than Manchester to park at but much handier to get to.

I agree with you that when you live quite a distance from the airport it makes a much better travel day to stay the night before you go. We stayed there years ago but just its only about 15 miles for us now so just go direct.

Wish DD wouldn't let her alarm keep going off it is driving me mad. Think she can sleep through it sometimes so going to give her a knock now.
