well done ff just shows if you complain and it's their fault things can be done and are I should know I used to deal with customer complaints daily and the mantre is dont lose a customer. I only ever in 14 years dealt with one customer who was completely in the wrong and was reported as high as she could go. After investigation it was found I was completely in the right. She thought she was some kind of law and consumer rights guru. She was also barred from the store as staff were being approached to see if she could dig up any dirt on me.

A good tip and something I used to do for customers especially with food purchases is if there is a problem photocopy packaging dates code etc and receipt before taking back to store. take item/ receipt to store then send of photocopy to manufacturer. 9 times out of ten you will be refunded and replaced by store and maufacturer will send you vouchers/cheque

lol nipped out to butchers for a couple of things and when I was out went in to nisa store next door for a bottle of wine and Araf said to me goodness christine your keen it is only 1 min past 10. His dad owns the shop and Araf lives in one of the flats no doubt I'll be the talk of the place shortly. lol:D

Yes we are at last in Crete-didn't get to the house until after midnight last night as there was a bit of drama on the plane-a passenger had a bit of a turn and the cabin crew and a girl sitting beside us who was a paramedic were kept busy with him. They decided to divert the plane to Munich and take him to hospital along with his wife. What a way to start your holiday, real shame for them.
Only on the ground 40 minutes then we were off again but as the crew had been so busy they hadn't done a snack run so we were 4 hours into the flight before we got a coffee by which time I was gasping
As a result we were over an hour late arriving at Heraklion but our car hire man was there and we got on our way.
Lovely and warm here with the wind coming from the Sahara

I had such a busy weekend before coming here I haven't caught up with all the news in the Inn yet.

Glad you got to Crete safely elle. An hour late wasn't bad when you had to divert.

Rose, I was Xmas shopping once and wanted to get a bottle of malt whisky in local shop which was on offer. Completely forgot we can't buy them before 10am so had to stand for 5 mins and wait - felt like an alcoholic waiting on bar opening.

lol shiels luckily my neighbours know me and will laugh it of but you do feel a bit uncomfortable when things like that happen and no doubt when the bbq weather comes along and we are out in the courtyard having a gathering so to speak Araf will tell this story till the cows come in:D bless him he is a sweetie and brings along so much wine you could drown in it but we all love him to bits:)

Good afternoon all. Internet has been off all morning and couldn't seem to get SIL to fix it for us so I just joked with him saying we would have to go home today ( we are supposed to be looking after GD Thur/Frid as they are back to work). It was quickly fixed.
